Re: 1987 Roster

awesome! thanks for this. so how long did this take you? when did you start? how much time did you put in per day?

I ask b/c I'm in the process of creating a 1992-93 roster for NBA 2K10, and I started in March. It takes forever to create a roster, but it's not like we could ever do this with an EA game lol

Re: 1987 Roster

doph... Are the settings only for '87, or are they good to use for 2K11 rosters?

I started it with lots of snow on the ground. I don't remember the exact time. It takes me about 3-4 hours per team, plus play-testing and reworking teams. That doesn't count all the FAs, draftees, scheduling, coaches, etc. It is a lot of time.

As for my settings, I just posted them because it is what I used to test out my rosters. I figured people might want to play the same way I did. In exhibition, it seems pretty moderate in difficulty, but it's been quite the challenge in franchise mode. I've had some tough games. I've even rolled back my "no line shifting" policy. You could probably use them for any roster. It just depends on what you skill level is. I like them, because they work well with my ratings. I did use them with convince's roster.
