question about updating the rosters without max drive

Well, I FINALLY found an 2k5 game, really really ecstatic to find one as I've been looking for it for a few months over here in Australia. Anyways, is there an specific amount of created players you can make, because I am thinking of creating a roster myself? I do not have a ps2 max drive usb in which i can update the roster, so I'm contemplating whether to pay $30+ for a usb to update rosters, or create it on my own and have no life haha

Pay the money. It's easier and faster with Finn's Editor. Trust me. Doing it manually is tedious!
    NFL - Pittsburgh Steelers
    CFB - Miami Hurricanes
    MLB - NY Yankees
    NBA - Los Angeles Lakers
    CBB - NC Tarheels
    Bundesliga - FC Bayern Munich
    MLS - Seattle Sounders

The is an editing limit of 100 or so players so its impossible to get an accurate roster without Finn's editor and a max drive.
ESPN NFL 2K5 GREATEST FOOTBALL GAME EVER!

I just edit the players that will not play in the NFL again. I don't have a Max Drive, and I got the AFC East up to date so far.

You will hit a limit even while editing players.

            Can anyone tell me...

Without anything but my PS2, the game and a memory card, if I only substitute the last names, matching the 2k5 player whose attributes come closest to those of a player from 1983, how many name substitutions can I make before the editor reaches its limit?

My goal is to match attributes to names, edit the last names, then edit the rosters to create accurate starting lineups.

You have a limit on the players you can edit.

ANY PLAYER you edit IN ANYWAY counts towards this limit.

Thank You. However, I was hoping someone could tell me HOW MANY PLAYERS I can edit. I know there is a limit, could someone tell me what that limit is?

Thank you in advance to anyone willing to take the time to answer THAT question.

I don't think anyone knows the exact number. 100-150 would be my guess. I remember running into the limit years ago before I got a max drive. I'd definitely suggest looking into getting one if you want to do any type of editing. The editor makes editing easy and quick.

Thanks, GB. Like your name. Always thought WCW taking the strap off Goldberg was one of their BIGGEST mistakes, although there are several to choose from...
