I see you lowered aggression for corners. That make the passing game alot worse. Also what sliders are you using?

Re: GillBoldberg's 2012-13 NFL Roster

I had aggression higher before but it seemed like there were too many batted balls. Maybe my mind is playing tricks on me lol.

I'm using Bill's with some slight modifications

Some stats Eagles (me) vs Bengals. 8 min quarters; got some better cpu qb play (thanks chibears).

McCoy got injured in the 2nd quarter so I had to rely on the backups.

My safeties got torched on a few long passes and Green-Ellis was manageable until he busted 2 long runs which boosted his numbers.

Overall it was a pretty fun game, except for the loss lol.

Broncos (me) vs Bears

Closer game than the score indicates. Turnovers and a dropped TD catch by Hester in the endzone really hurt the bears.

In the 2nd half I wasn't as aggressive with Manning, rode McGahee to drain the clock.

I'll have another update up tonight

I respectfully disagree with that. Corners should have low or 0 aggression. It eliminates the circling of DBs and yields good results. FS and SS (especially SS) I always give high(er) AGG ratings.

I don't see going with zero aggression myself and wouldn't go any lower then the games actual default of 25,that zero would probably be something I go with if the player is inconsistent a rookie or a lower tier defender.

Aggressiveness doesn't effect all players in the same way particularly pass defenders, for defensive backs it effects their basic awareness defending against the pass and if set too high could result in an overly aggressive style of play which to some could be a good thing yielding more pass deflections and a more physical confrontation on the field of play however the downside is that it could result in more pass interference calls.

I'd rather have that as opposed to seeing a defender running around in circles lost and confused but to each his own seeing DBs running in that circle motion looks dumb in my opinion.

I do somewhat agree with Dolphin the games default starting out at 25 and adjusting from there but most def don't see it being set at zero unless the player is that rookie or lower tier player.

There is however something to be said about higher aggressive ratings and FunNGun has proven that if edited correctly the game could be a fun no pun intended FunNGun.....anyway its a situation where you'd have to really observe and watch whats going on seeing your players act and re-act to gameplay and watching the CPU vs CPU is a good way to see this.

As for slider adjustments they are and always will be something subjective due to individual likes and playing styles....I'm a pro style sim guy myself and enjoy watching a game as if it were a live broadcast yielding realistic results and seeing DBs running in circles again is just a dumb way to enjoy a game if he's overly aggressive and gets flagged then that is what should happen or a big hit and fumble great but no way seeing DBs running around in circles due to poor editing there is no excuse for that.

Re: GillBoldberg's 2012-13 NFL Roster

I have the aggression set as a base at 24 right now for CB's. I haven't seen any wonky CB play yet. Still testing it a bit but so far been seeing some pretty good results. There are more pass interference calls, but that's a good thing in my book.
