Franchise mode using modified rosters

I've downloaded some roster for the 1985 season for nfl 2k5 ps2. I can play a regular game withoout a problem but when i try to play in franchise mode it freezes. Anyone one with any input on this ??

Are you using the franchise 1985 roster or not. Should be two 1985 files to choose from on the site, one is a roster for play now type games and a franchise roster for a franchise. When trying to start a franchise from the play now roster you will have problems due to the cap value. Have been using the Xbox 1985 rosters for some time and never had a problem with the franchise roster but did with the play now roster when starting a franchise before I noticed there was a separate franchise file....

I got the rosters from this post and i only saw roster files and no franchise

Yeah, on the 2k5roster site there's only the xbox version of the franchise. I can convert it to a ps2 save for you Rens. Just shoot me a PM.

oops, did not notice the PS2 note in first post. Sorry, thought you meant for the Xbox. But looks like Gill's sorted it for yeah....
