I've never messed with team names so I have no idea. Maybe Gill can fix the team names before doing the PS2 conversion

You have to manually hex edit team or city or stadium names. In my file last year, changing the Rams to LA actually caused an issue with the schedule in franchise mode. So I wouldn't recommend doing any changes.

Remember in roster mode you can't have more than 53 players or it will freeze
