My PS2 slim is not modded at all. When I uncrush the MAX file through Action Replay, it runs through the process fine, but when I look at the resulting save through the PS2 memory card, it shows the file size as "?" and in-game, the interface says its Corrupted and has a size of 2kb. I haven't tried the Franchise file yet but I can do that today.

The Franchise file works without a hitch.

Awesome. I'll go ahead and try the roster file again, but I can't guarantee that it'll work. I should have it up tomorrow for you.

Ok I just updated the OP and it should be good to go. If it still doesn't work I'm afraid I don't know what the issue is. Good luck hope it works!

Hey thanks for responding. Turns out I was able to edit my PS2 files all along with the 2K5 GameSave Editor ver 4. No conversion from xbox needed. I'm running the PCSX2 emltr. Didn't know it would be that simple for me. Honestly I'll just keep editing the current 2k19 roster I have now. Some roster updates may have things missing or not to my liking (I'm so OCD...and I hate it ) but it works for me rather than having to go over a newly downloaded roster only to end making multiple changes. Thanks again, I'll still mess around with the process though so I can know how to do it just in case. I may even upload rosters from time to time. I'm pretty sure my rosters would be most accurate lol.

Is there a way to configure the franchise mode so that you're just managing one team, not all 32?

Open the file in the editor first. There you can change what teams are user controlled.
