Had the same prob, same error mesage, bought a Microsoft card, worked fine, took the AR and Microsoft card back and got a new AR, and it works fine now.

Yes! Finally got it! The last poster was right - it was the memory card! I tried a new card and it worked like a charm! Thanks a lot for all the help, everyone!

Let me be the millionth person to spread the warning that the memory cards that come with Action Replay are basically junk.

This forum has been just terrific! Thanks again for the helpful responses - especially Rickster who kept checking back and offering tips!
