trying to understand?

I have a question. I was thinking that if you had a player with good attributes such as speed then if you lowered the sliders in the game wouldn't that cut his attributes? I have played a few games where I have max out the sliders for both cpu and human and have some good numbers. It makes the good players good and the bad ones bad. What do you think?

It doesn't lower attributes it just makes the game harder by lowing break tackle frequency, making blocking worse, making opponent players smarter etc. It does make good guys good and bad guy bad though, a scrub HB is much less effective on higher difficulties while a guy like LT or Peterson can still dominate the defense every once in a while.
