Interception and Fumble Sliders

Would Zero be, all the way to the left?

I have found when you move the slider all the way to the right
There are rarely interceptions.. Same with Fumbles..

Am I wrong?

** I really can not tell if the slider works at all, Fumbles & Int's.
In several games Pics and Fumbles Seemed random..

Re: Interception and Fumble Sliders

I can't speak for the INT slider any longer, but I'd say it's what you think... 0 is less, 40 is more. However, I zero out catching on all defense players and in combination with the INT slider, I get pretty realistic in game INT stats both ways.

I'm pretty sure the fumble slider is sensitive as well, especiallly at the mid-range mark. I typically play with the settings @ 23 for good weather, 25 for rain and 27-28 for snow. Also, the only tweak I do with that is dumb down QB's hold on to the ball. In a 24-21 Atlanta win over Pitt last night (8 minute qtrs.), Ryan lost the ball twice being rush/sacked, though a lineman recovered each one.

Even for the good guys you zero it out? Ed Reed? Brian Dawkins? How is that working for you? Do you recommend it?

Absolutely. The NFL avg for INT's thrown in a game is only about 1 per team. But I can't ever base anything off simmed stats. On defense, I'm typically controlling a LB, and stay with the player I chose during any given play. So if I'm going to get an INT, my cpu assisted player in the DB field will be doing that. Also, consider the length of the periods. I think 9 minute periods gets a pretty accurate no. of plays compared to the real thing, but then I find the scores can get run up.... so I go with 8.

Search by my username for past files that I've uploaded and take a look at them in the editor. Also, I had posted a "house rules" guideline for the way you can play against the cpu if it works for you.

I wouldnt set all defensive players to 0 catch, thats extreme and only something some people do.

Even with setting all defensive players with zero catch still gets interceptions. I haven't tried Interceptions at zero, but that will be my next step. There are way too many interceptions in this game, so something has to be done.
