What is Performance EQ? Any help would be appreciated.

balances out player abilities then sliders take affect
you turn eq on and play all pro, your gonna get the most fair game possible
but play on legend with eq, you'll get nothing accomplished
it also gives the sliders more affect
ex. with eq off you can put human passing at the zero slider notch and still be able to make some passes...but turn eq on, since it by itself balances the game, if you now turn the human passing slider all they way down...human passing will be non existent to the teams qb ratings, will be basically at zero
i hope that made some sense and can help
to summarize eq off...you factor in difficulty level and player ratings
eq on...game balance, no set difficulty level, then you factor in slider tweakingComment

The manual says one thing but I've played quite a few games recently with EQ on Legend level and it's WONDERFUL. The QB spy feature actually WORKS. Players DO NOT lose their ratings. I've seen it. You can exploit one on one matchups but don't throw to a scrub reciever with a star on him , throw to your best reciever with a scrub on him. Don't just run out the pocket all willy nilly, if the spy is on your *bleep* is grass. This is online play I'm talking about here. It will change your whole outlook of the game. You players ratings are still the same but your players play up to their skill level instead of being stupid all of a sudden.
I'm telling you I actually SAW with my OWN EYES the QB Spy work. Dude, in fact all games today I played all of them tried to scramble with the QB, and I was killing them. I got real good at it the last game. QB never got past First Down in the last one. My Giants against his Pats. The score was 35-0 because he was pretty much throwing posts and flags all game and scrambling out the pocket to the sidelines looking to throw deep or scramble. I had it all covered. The game I played against the Eagles that I won McNabb got two scrambling TD's on me because I wasn't paying attention and he took advantage. But had the EQ not been on he would have easily gotten 4 more scrambling TD's. Mind you those scrambling TD's he did get was less than 10 yards and he didn't get that close by scrambling.
But the LB shadowed him when he went out the pocket , shadowed , shadowed, then when he stepped up to run, here comes my LB SMASH!!!
Basically your men play to their ratings. Not some mysterious force that relegates all your players playing like garbage simply cause your team is less, or in my case, way less than perfect.Comment
