OS Supporters $$$ League 2013

And... we're back!

Most of you know the drill, but for those that don't here are the rules/stipulations:

League type: 10 team ESPN Standard League (non-PPR) with standard H2H scoring.

Two division with five teams each.

Each team plays the other four in their own division twice and the five in the opposite division once.

13 week regular season.

4 teams make the playoffs.

Each playoff matchup is 2 weeks long.

The two division winners will be the top two seeds along with two wild card teams.

All tiebreakers will be based on total points scored.

Entry fee is $50 per owner.

*Draft will be an online snake draft tentatively scheduled for Thursday August 29th at 9:00 pm Eastern.

We will be using LeagueSafe for payments and withdrawals as usual.

The draft date/time is just a placeholder and can and will be changed if necessary.

I just put it at that date and time (the last Thursday before the regular season opener) since that is when we drafted last year.

I am also open to expanding the league to 12 or even 14 teams depending on interest.

Due to a problem we had last year, all owners MUST pay their league fee at least three days prior to the draft.

Would be cool with a larger league. Deeper leagues are always more interesting.

Don't remember if I brought this up last year or not, but is there any way to have fractional scoring so that we can avoid ties?

I'm open to it. It would just take me five minutes to tinker with the settings.

I'm focused on getting this thing filled up first, though. Once we do we'll vote on that and other things (like payouts etc.) just like every year.

I can do Sunday the 1st but no later than 6:00 pm Eastern. My in person big money keeper league drafts that night.

I would be OK with that as long as we can start as close to 6pm EST as possible. 6pm EST is 7am for me, couple with my birthday being the day prior. I don't mind nursing a hangover for the draft but any earlier is going to be a problem for me.

Well, I'm not changing the tentative draft date until we fill the league. It's all just talk at this stage.
