Re: Keeper Advice

Alright guys, here's the scoop on my keeper situation this year:

I can keep Antonio Brown for a 1st round pick (which I'm absolutely doing).

I can also keep one of the following (cost will be in parentheses):

Keenan Allen (4th round)
Sammy Watkins (4th round)
Jonathan Stewart (4th round)
Jeremy Maclin (5th round)
Justin Forsett (10th round)
Jeremy Langford (12th round)
Charles Sims (12th round)
Gary Barnidge (13th round)
Karlos Williams (14th round)

At first glance, it seems like it's basically a decision between Allen and Watkins, though I suppose I could try to get cute by going with Langford or Sims instead.

Re: Keeper Advice

I would consider Forsett in the 10th round if he looks like he's going to get the lion's share in Baltimore.

Yeah, he's another option. The downside with the 3 RBs I could consider is that all of their situations are kinda up in the air. The cost to keep them is low obviously, but it would hurt to keep one of them and have them end up being a backup RB when I could have kept Sammy/Allen.

Definitely a concern. Depending on how long you can wait it out before submitting keepers, you might have a clearer picture by the 3rd preseason game.

Deadline is a couple days after the 1st preseason game unfortunately. We're discussing pushing the deadline back for next year, but yeah, I had thought I'd wait it out until I realized how early the deadline is. Just gonna have to rely on training camp reports/the first preseason game I guess.

Re: Keeper Advice

There could be value there with Forsett, but that's definitely going to be a split backfield. The rookie Kenneth Dixon has a ton of potential, plus counting on Buck Allen continuing to progress.

That's without even mentioning Taliaferro, West, and Richardson. They won't all make it, but it's already a crowded backfield with some familiar faces who performed well last year.

Allen or Watkins seem like the obvious choices. I think I'd probably lean Allen.

Depends on how much your budget is, but relative to the budgets I usually work with, I feel like $21 for Martin is a steal.
