Tulsa begin WAC conference schedule with defeat to Hawaii

TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- Timmy Chang completed 24 of 42 passes for 321 yards and three touchdowns to help lead Hawaii to a 31-24 victory over Tulsa.

Fans of the Golden Hurricanes will at least be pleased by the fact that they were competitive after the mauling they received from Arkansas State a fortnight ago.

Tulsa's running back Eric Richardson scored his first touchdown of the season, although he was still a poor 44 yards on 19 carries.

Their first WAC conference road game will see the Golden Hurricanes visit Boise State (4-1, 1-0 WAC) next week.

Tulsa upset Boise State with Brad Devault's late field goal

BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- Brad Devault's 26-yard field goal with only six seconds remaining sealed an upset win for Tulsa over Boise State.

Devault's late heroics was not exactly a done deal immediately beforehand as the sophomore had missed all three of his field goal attempts up to that point.

Tulsa's James Kilian had to play through the pain barrier from the third quarter onwards but still managed the game well by completing 18 of 29 passes for 226 yards with one interception.

To the delight of the Golden Hurricanne fans they finally had a running game from Eric Richardson as he ran for a combined 185 yards, with 94 rushing.

Tulsa will now head back home looking to build on this unlikely win with a home encounter against Nevada.

I'm REALLY liking this. Nice retro-dynasty. I have a bunch of older games I still play, which makes me appreciate this the more. Please keep it up.

My question to you is: Are you having fun playing it? Has it stood the test of time and retained it's playability? You're detail in the reports would suggest you are having a blast with it.

Nice dynasty Malignant if you wouldn't mind I would like to add one thing and that is on all your stats and polls ect you use "white" text on a white template and you can't see it unless you highlight it with the mouse maybe you could change the text color to black so you can easily read it.

Yes I'm having great fun. I've waited a long time to grab an NTSC type console for the PS2 so it's good to finally play an NCAA game. I tried the PS3 demo for NCAA 08 and I just couldn't get into it, for some reason NCAA 2004 just 'feels' right.

That's strange, I can't seem to replicate that problem on my computer. What browser are you using?

On a side note I've just viewed my reports on IE7 (as I usually use Firefox) and it seems to be reducing the width of my reports, and thus squashing everything. I might need to re-think the placement of the SI covers.
