Malignant, it's because some of us use the black background scheme and you are selecting black font. My suggestion would be to select the button that disables all colors which will show up as black text for you white background people and as white for us black backgrounders. Use the ESPN2 scheme to see what he was talking about!

I am enjoying this, as well, by the way!

Tulsa win their first back-to-back games after victory over Nevada

TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- Mark Holota scored on a three yard run to give Tulsa a lead that they would never relinquish as the Golden Hurricanes held on to win 24-20.

The game was played in wet and windy conditions as Tulsa won their second game in a row to improve to 3-4 and 2-1 in the WAC.

The Golden Hurricanes raced to a 10-0 lead after a touchdown catch from junior tight-end Caleb Blankenship and a short field goal from Brad Devault. The Wolf Pack (3-4, 2-1 WAC) came roaring back with 17 points, sandwiched by a touchdown catch from Tulsa's Montiese Culton, to level the score at 17-17 before half-time.

Holota's short touchdown run late in the third, coupled with the Golden Hurricanes defence limiting the opposition to just a field goal throughout the second half, gave Tulsa the win.

The SMU Mustangs (3-4, 1-3 WAC) will be the next opponents at Skelly Stadium.

Tulsa rout SMU to reach .500

TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- Tulsa did the unthinkable and secured their third straight win to improve to 4-4 (3-1 WAC). They did it by scoring early and often on SMU and ran out comfortable winners.

The Mustangs' only score was a defensive touchdown from Anthony Barnett, after Tulsa's quarterback James Kilian had fumbled the ball during his side's first possession after the interval.

But that was the only blip for the Golden Hurricanes as they totally dominated the game.

Kilian was 16/26 for 265-yards and two touchdowns, and for the second straight game the junior came away with no interceptions. The statistic is even more impressive considering the fact that he threw seven picks into the hands of Arkansas State's defence just five weeks ago.

Tight-end Caleb Blankership had his best game of the season as he caught six passes for 122-yards and two touchdowns.

Additional scoring was also provided by the defence as Kedrick Alexander picked off Richard Bartel and ran it back for six, whilst Brandon Lohr forced a safety early in the forth quarter.

The Golden Hurricanes will now begin a two game road trip, with next weeks match-up against the Miners in UTEP (1-7 1-2 WAC).

Re: Tulsa Golden Hurricanes (NCAA 2004 - PS2)

It's been a while since I've posted an update, mainly due to lack of time. So I'm afraid these next few reports will be short and sweet.
