NY Jets from 2014

(Head Coach 09)
I just found this part of the forums. I have a pretty good team with the Jets....IMO. I dont have all of my numbers in front of me...but will start sharing them later tonite. I have 102 wins...have won 3 sb's and have had the number 1 defense 3 years in a row. I just lost the sb to the Giants 28-10...my qb and rb went down in the first quarter and the team struggled after that. I am getting ready to start the fa. I doubt I will sign anyone since I dont have any glaring needs. I have 19 draft picks in the upcoming draft...but no 1st rounder. I traded it for the qb I wanted 2 years ago.

I will update this with the specifics tonite.

Re: NY Jets from 2014

I got wrapped up looking at the upcoming draft data and didnt get this together until this morning.

A couple of things about my career so far. It is 2015 and I have had 7 winning seasons (it must count going .500 as a winning season). My record is 105/21 and I have been to 4 super bowls...winning 3.

My cap numbers for this year are 36.02 mil under the cap with 3.63 mil in penalties. I have 19 draft picks...no 1st round, 1 in the 2nd and 3rd and the other 17 in rounds 4-7. I dont have any real glaring needs except for wrs. But I want to get a good returner and good 3rd back. Plus I want to try to get some good backups. I will also look at my rfas and see if I want to keep them or trade them away.

Let me know what you think...

Coaching Staff...

I have been fortunate that none of my coaches have left...

I dont have their names with me...but here are the numbers
HC-70
OC-84
DC-98
STC-80
QBC-99 (maxed out)
RBC-99
WRC-99 (maxed out)
OLC-99 (maxed out)
LBC-91
DLC-97
DBC-86
GM-80
TRNR-99

To be honest I would like to replace my qb coach and my wr coach...but since I have made it to the sb the last 3 years there hasnt been anyone worth looking at to replace them with...

Looks like a very good roster.
Lots of tradeable players if you want to get back into the first round

Re: NY Jets from 2014

I have been looking at that...but I dont see any glaring needs that I can fix in this draft. Plus I have this adversion to paying those first round contracts when I can find good players in later rounds. I am going to look over the draft again and see if there is anyone I want in the first round. OLB is the hardest positon I have found to fill...

Well...I started basically from scratch after my first season. I fired all of the original coaches except for the oc...and the olc. I have had everyone stay with me after I hired them except my trainer. It has taken me 7 season to get them to this point. Now I pray they dont leave at the end of every season...
