Re: Minnesota North Stars (NCAA 10 Dynasty)

Thanks man. The settings page has been updated to reflect my current sliders. I had to limit the CPU pass rush a little. Last in sacks with ~50/season the past 3 years warranted a slight change. My line isn't that bad. Also dropped CPU rush defense a little, they were just stuffing me with the newest settings. Biggest thing to limit big runs is CPU tackle. As long as they wrap you up you're not going to have insane rushing days, unless you have a phenomenal day.

Also, check out the 2011 Top 10 Plays in the Highlights section, I think they are the best of the three seasons.

Indiana Shocks #7 North Stars at Home, 34-31

This one was heck of a tough loss to swallow. Indiana had a 17-0 lead in the first quarter and I was playing catch up all game. The key to this game was turnovers, and Indiana won the battle 3-1. Also, their QB had a great game throwing for 2 TDs and 224 yards.

I tied the game up late but Indiana hit a 38-yard FG with 0:04 remaining.

Minnesota Stats:
So. QB Kendall Hall - 11/26, 133 yards, 2 TD, 3 INT
Fr. HB Ivan McKinney - 31 car, 196 yards, 2 TD -- 1 catch, 61 yards, TD

NCAA News
#1 Ohio State pretty much has the Big Ten wrapped up with their 9-0 record. They have one tough game against #4 Michigan left. I could possibly get a co-BIg Ten Title.

I have Minnesota sitting at #14 in the polls after being #7. I was on an 8-game win streak and then pesky Indiana just had to spoil my great season.

Award Watch
Bednarik - Jr. LB Will Jordan is #2 | 66 tak, 4 sack, 4 INT, 6 FF
Best WR - So. WR Booker Chambers is #7 | 56 rec, 826 yds, 9 TD
Lombardi - Jr. DE Roy Mitchell is #1 | 53 tak, 9 sack, INT, FF
Lombardi - So. DE Damon Russ is #6 | 58 tak, 6 sack
Best LB - Jr. LB Will Jordan is #3
Thorpe - Jr. SS Jonathan Hill is #2 | 54 tak, 4 INT, FF
Best P - Sr. Dan Orseske is #4 | 50 punts, 37.5 net avg

Next game: vs Wisconsin

Ruined my Big Ten hopes.

North Stars Relentless vs Ohio in Opener, Win 54-3

Well there was no doubt about this game. I opened up the game with a touchdown on my first drive by Sophomore HB Ivan McKinney. (59-yard run)...Well he wasn't done yet, he ran for a 75-yard touchdown in the 2nd quarter and then let everyone down with a 4-yard touchdown to start the 3rd quarter. However, Mr. McKinney then broke a 93-yard run in the 3rd to make it 45-3 and the starters came out.

Senior LB Will Jordan led Minnesota with 13 tackles, a forced fumble, and a 44-yard fumble recovery touchdown, the 2nd TD of his career.

Junior QB Kendall Hall was solid, passing 17-25 for 234 yards and 2 TDs. Both TDs went to All-American Junior WR Booker Chambers (6 rec, 69 yds, 2 TD).

The game was total domination and any drive that Ohio could establish ended in miscue. The Bobcats Sophomore Kicker T. Brown went 1-3 on his FG attempts.

Current Position:
Record: 1-0, 0-0 Big Ten
Rank: #22
Next game: @ #16 Auburn Tigers (0-0)

Heisman Watch: Jr. WR Booker Chambers ---- #2 in the race behind Oklahoma Senior QB Drew Allen

BTW Drew Allen is a beast!
