University of Minnesota Announces School Nickname Change

The University of Minnesota will no longer be known as the Golden Gophers. From this day forward you can refer to them as the University of Minnesota North Stars. For several years Minnesota fans have been grumbling over the cartoonish mascot and maroon and yellow color scheme. Well the time has come for an updated look that still have the traditional feel that is associated with the Big Ten Conference. The state of Minnesota is known as the "North Star" state the to nickname is fitting, and the dark blue, old gold, and white combination gives the team a darker look to be assocaited with the cold midwest.

Uniforms have been changed!
I still have the same 3 base colors, but I made some big changes.

Here are the major changes:
Primary helmet = white
Alternate helmet = gold

I have updated the site 100%, or at least as much as possible for right now. ~10 days away, I'm getting pretty excited for the release.

Oh gotcha...

OL isn't on my player pages because nobody cares about OL! If one is really, really awesome he'll be a HoF'er. Usually you never win any OL awards on the 360 version of NCAA.

I am using the Minnesota roster template and I have edited the players as closely as I can. I'm not a stickler about perfecting the stuff but I like to get it all pretty close.
