Russell wins favor of coach for Opener

While there were long disputes over who the Raiders QB was going to be it seems that a decision was made. Raiders have named 1 year veteran, Jamarcus Russell the starting QB, atleast for now.

Coach Bart Andrus would not confirm if he or Al Davis made choice.

Raider will open up with a big game against the Broncos. While the Raiders strenght appears to be more on the defense side of the ball, the big question is can they stop both the Run AND the pass.
