Champs! November 3, 2008 - 10:10am Posted by Big D and the Munchkinettes

Best moment of my life. That's what the final whistle was to me, knowing that we had done it, something no one at Annapolis High has ever done before. We're Maryland State Champions.

It wasn't even hard. I got hit a bunch, something I really hate actually. I love football but hate being tackled. Weird, but that's why I play Quarterback. Now comes the next question. Where am I going to school? I haven't put too much thought in it until now.

23 Completions
25 Attempts
400 Yards
4 Passing Touchdowns
47 Rushing Yards
2 Rushing Touchdowns

Most balls I've thrown all playoffs, and I barely beat other games passing totals. We dumped down a lot because their corners were good. Their linebackers...not so much.

LSU came out again, I wish they could read my tweets.

Penn State Bound November 20, 2008 - 12:00pm Posted by Big D and the Munchkinettes

I've decided that Penn State would be the best fit for me. Since the State Championship Penn State and Joe Paterno have showed the most interest in me, and I am happy to be coming to Happy Valley.

I love Big 10 football, and I look forward to making my mark on this school. I know I won't start right away, but I hope to win the job by next season. Go Lions!

Re: Morris Daniels: Quarterback to the Stars

I'm Officially a Backup September 6, 2009 - 3:30pm Posted byBig D and the Munchkinettes
At this point in my career...I'm a holder. Not that I can complain, playing for one of the top programs in the nation, but I've never once not been a starter. It's different, I'm learning my role and just doing what I'm asked until I get my chance to play. I know once that happens I'm never going back to the bench.

Akron really gave us a scare. They came fired up and ready to play, and we were pretty much looking past them. I know I hoped to get some playing time in a blowout, but we barely lost it.

We scored with 50 seconds left in the game to go out front. Tough game. College football is great though. The fans at Beaver Stadium were insane, I've never played in front of so many people before.

First Action! September 13, 2009 - 12:01pm Posted byBig D and the Munchkinettes

I finally got my chance to play in a college football game. Sure we were dominating Syracuse, but nonetheless it felt great to get out on the field and compete again.

I also scored my first career touchdown. I saw the opening and just took off, broke a tackle and slid into the end zone. Even though we were winning by a lot the stadium exploded. It was a great feeling, and just reassured me coming to Penn State.

I hate sacks. always counting against my rushing total. My own fault for getting taken down for a 15 yard loss. I played well I think, but it just felt good to do something other than hold.
