I'm considering some, such as signing Edgerrin James to replace the fat toad that is Benson.

I dont know right now though.

2 more games should be up by tonight.

Re: Rebuilding: A Cincinnati Bengals Franchise

Game 2: @ Green Bay
W 23-10

So the Bengals get their first win of the season at Lambeau Field, winning in decisive fashion 23-10. Cinci started off by jumping out to a big lead, scoring 13 first quarter points thanks in part to two FGs from 44 and 45 yards out, and a nice 10 yard TD pass to Chad Ochocinco. Ochocinco would have a big game, and in the 2nd quarter would catch a great TD pass over the middle from Palmer, and then run it in for a 67 yard TD catch. The Packers executed a bad Cover 1 on 2nd and 3, which allowed Ochocinco to burn them deep in the secondary. By the half, the score was 20-0.

The Packers would finally get on the board early in the 3rd though with a 46 yard FG. The Bengals responded with a FG of their own from Shayne Graham, who hit a 32 yarder. The 4th saw no scoring until late as Graham would miss a 40 yard FG and the Packers continued to struggle. Rodgers would finally connect with a 19 yard catch over the middle to J. Jones to make the game 23-10. The score would remain that way for the final 2 minutes of the game.

Stats
Palmer 15-28 217 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT
Benson 25-57 yards. (Continues to struggle a bit.)
Chad Ochocinco 4-113 yards, 2 TD
Laverneus Coles 4-42

Pat Sims/Domata Peko/Robert Geathers each had 2 Sacks.
Chris Crocker came away with an INT.

Injury Notes:

RE Antwan Odom is going to miss 6 weeks with a torn quadricep. Rookie Mike Johnson will assume his role.

Very happy with our win overall, its nice to get the first one out of the way. Its also nice to avoid a start similar to last season. Cinci takes on Pittsburgh at home next week.
