Yeah, we've yet to put a full game together, but I think we'll be pretty dangerous once we do.

Missouri Just Can't Overcome Sloppy First Half
Fall to Pittsburgh

Missouri finds themselves at 2-1, but knows they could easily be looking at an 0-3 start. While their second half performances have been something to behold, their first half efforts have been something to forget.

The story remained the same for the Tigers, dropping behind 21-6 before the half, including a 43 yard interception return by Jovani Chappel with 8 seconds left in the first half.

The second half would once again see Missouri improve their play and make a run at the lead, but Pittsburgh's tough defense would prove too much.

Blaine Gabbert was shaky at best in his first road game as a starter, throwing three interceptions and losing a fumble. It doesn't help that Missouri leads the nation in sacks allowed, and turnovers.

Pittsburgh continued to apply the pressure on Gabbert, exploiting his youth. At times Gabbert looked like a star, but he seemed to crumble under the pressure more often then not, making poor decisions leading to a poor offensive showing.

Gabbert was bad, and Missouri couldn't overcome it
