According to a source close to the team, star Middle Linebacker James Farrior is out for the season with a completely torn pectoral muscle suffered in practice on Friday. Is was also said that the Steelers have agreed to a deal with veteran Middle Linebacker Zach Thomas. It is reported to be a 2 year deal worth $3.26M guaranteed with no incentives. A three team deal wet through the commissioner's office today that sent Mewelde Moore to Arizona, Marvin Harrison back to the Colts, and the Cardinals sent Early Doucet, also to the Colts. The Steelers won the deal, in my opinion. They recieved several draft picks, Chris Weels [RB], and Amani Toomer [WR] from Arizona, Austin Collie and Anthony González [both WR] from the Colts. The deal is said to be because the two traded away from Pittsburgh were unhappy with their playing time.
