Another Overtime loss for the Hogs
In another hard fought game, once again, the Hogs dragged aanother team they had no business playing with into overtime and surrendered a big play to them. The game started off slow moving, 3-0 Cards after the 1st quarter, but then boy did it pick up. In the second quarter, Matt Jones caught a 58 yard TD pass , followed by 2 50 + TD passes from Larry Fitzgerald and Steve Breaston. After that Shagg Makino ran back a kickoff to end teh half 17-14 Cardinals. In the 3rd quarter, Matt Stover kicked a field goal and Tim Hightower, who had a day, had a 33 yard touchdown run. The Hogs added a TD run in the 4th, sending it to overtime. In overtime, The Cardinals won the coin flip, and on the 4th play of the drive, Tim Hightower broke off for a 65 yard TD run. Another tough one to loose.. Gus Frerotte was also yanked in the 3rd quarter.
