Re: Atlanta Falcons (Madden 10) RETRY WITH ROSTERS

ATLANTA, Ga.- Get ready to grab your popcorn, as Falcons season starts in a few days! Yes sir thats right its football season again. As the Falcons come off a “cinderella” season, Matt Ryan and Michael Turner try to make it to the playoffs easier this year, after a heartbreaker loss to the runner-ups, Arizona Cardinals. They aquired a potential Hall of Famer, Tony Gonzalez who currently owns the record for receptions by a tight end in one season, reception yards by a tight tend, career touchdowns by a tight end, and career receptions by a tight end. They have a strong running back core of Jerious Norwood, Michael Turner, and Ovie Mughelli. Wide recievers are merely the same as last year, Roddy White, Brian Finneran, and Michael Jenkins, just to name a few. Our expert panelists predict the Falcons to have an off-the-charts year, and our best wishes to the team. GO FALCONS!

Key Additions: Tony Gonzalez (via trade from Kansas City), Peria Jerry (via Draft), William Moore (via Draft), Marty Booker (via free agency), Lawrence Sidbury (via Draft)

Key Departures: Laurent Robinson (to Rams), Marcus Pollard (not tendered), Todd Weiner (retired), Wayne Gandy (not tendered), Grady Jackson (to Lions), Simon Fraser (released), Michael Boley (to Giants), Keith Brooking (to Cowboys), Domonique Foxworth (to Ravens), Lawyer Milloy (not tendered)

Depth Chart:

RB
Starter: Michael Turner – After finally being a starter in Atlanta, Turner ran for 1,699 yards and 17 touchdowns along with 376 carries.

Backup: Jerious Norwood

FB

Re: Atlanta Falcons (Madden 10) RETRY WITH ROSTERS

Falcons Destroy the Dolphins

Atl., GEORGIA (AP)-The Falcons started their season of with a bang this year. They took on the resurging Dolphins in a NFC South and East battle. Matt Ryan was obliterating in the passing game throwing over 420 yards and picking up 6 TDs on the way. Michael Turner surprisingly was the leading receiver, landing 257 yards on 7 receptions. He also had 3 TDs catching. Not to mention as well, he rushed for over 80 yards. On the other side, the Dolphins had suffered a huge blow, losing their quarterback, Chad Pennington to a season ending injury. The other Chad, Chad Henne was pretty average, passing for just over 280 yards and 2 TDs. Ted Ginn Jr., however, caught for over 120 yards, but that lead to nothing, compared to the Falcon's tenacious D. Jamaal Anderson racked up 2 sacks and 5 tackles, and even picking up and interception. The Falcons stay home next week at the Dome and play the 0-1 Panthers.
