A new era of Bears football began Sunday Night in Green Bay...The Jay Cutler era, and the new Bears QB did not disappoint in his first game for Chicago.
The game would remain close throughout, with both teams executing in a very entertaining game. Let's check out the game summary and some highlights
Summary
1st-Bears up 3-0, when Green Bay's D.Wynn returns a kickoff 99 yards for a TD and the Packers go on to 7-3

The Bears came into Week 2 high off of a solid performance in their Week 1 victory at Green Bay. The defending champion Steelers are fresh off their opening night loss to the Titans and were out to even their record on their quest to repeat as Super Bowl champs.

Summary
1st- The Steelers jumped on the Bears early, Ben Roethlisberger hits Hines Ward for a 15 yd TD, and Pittsburgh leads 7-0.

2nd- It would stay that way until the 2nd qtr, with :03 left in the half, the Bears throw a hail mary to end the half, and the Steelers Ike Taylor is called for pass interference , which would allow Chicago on the scoreboard with a 26 yd FG by Robbie Gould and it was 7-3 Steelers at the half

3rd-Gould would add a 50 yd FG in the 3rd to make 7-6 Steelers
3rd-Later in the 3rd, the Steelers get in the end zone again, this time on a 4 yd run by FB Carey Davis, and the Steelers go up 14-6.

4th-Now, in the 4th qtr, Chicago tries to add a FG, but Gould’s kick is blocked by James Farrior.

4th-The block would lead later to a 4 yd run by Willie Parker and the Steelers look to be on their way, now up 21-6.

4th- However the Bears mount a fierce comeback in the 4th starting with this Kevin Payne int return for a TD in the Steelers end zone. Payne takes it 101 yds and the Bears now trail 21-13.

4th- After a Josh Reed missed FG late in the 4th, Jay Cutler leads the Bears down field, and ends the drive finding Devin Hester for a 54 yd TD , the Bears add the 2pt conversion that would send this one to overtime.




OT-In overtime, Pittsburgh with a chance to win it, and Josh Reed misses his 2nd FG of the game, this one from 41 yds. Chicago, would be unable to capitalize and the Steelers would get another chance to win. But, this Roethlisberger pass to Stefan Logan is fumbled, Tommie Harris recovers it.

OT-Robbie Gould would win it with 32 yd FG, and Chicago down 15 in the 4th qtr comes from behind to shock the Steelers with a 24-21 overtime win.

The Bears move to 2-0 and will travel to surprising 2-0 Seattle who are without QB Matt Hasselbeck for the season. The Steelers fall to 0-2 and will have a bye next week to get things back on track before Week 4.
