Big Green Football Machine - New York Jets (M10)

RYAN APOLOGIZES FOR MISSING POSTSEASON

"At 9-7, second in the AFC East, the New York Jets have missed the postseason again, and I take full blame for that. Obviously 9-7 is no improvement from last year, but we won our last 6 games, bouncing back from our dreadful 3-7 start. We may have had a better chance to make the playoffs if the AFC were not so top heavy, seeing as the lowest seeded AFC team in the playoffs is my Ravens at 11-5, 2 games ahead of us. We made some key moves this season that we believe will help us in the future, and hopefully 2010 will be a better year."

2009 Team Leaders:
Passing:
Mark Sanchez, NFL Offensive Rookie of The Year (76.1 rating, 2,542 yds, 19 TD, 10 int, 51% comp)

Jonathan Stewart (782 yds, 8 tds, 4.7 avg)

Dustin Keller (40 rec, 373 yds, 1 TD)
Braylon Edwards (36 rec, 500 yds, 2 TD)

Defense:

Re: Big Green Football Machine - New York Jets (M10)

JETS SIGN DARREN SPROLES

It was odd how he wasn't signed by the pre-season, and he took a pay cut to sign. The Jets have signed HB Darren Sproles to a 5-yr $15 million deal. The signing of Sproles had added to the Jets already lethal rushing attack. Also, Head Coach Rex Ryan has announced that Vernon "Ghost"on will get some time at Right End, his college position, in an effort to turn him into the star he was supposed to become.

JETS 19, BILLS 7
The Jets continue their hot streak with their 9th straight win if you go back in to last year. At 3-0 the Jets are in 1st place with three 1-2 teams to follow. It was a rough day for the Jets offense, but luckily the defense held the Lions to one score, a 85 yard TD pass to Calvin Johnson on the game's opening drive. Jack English had a rough day, but Jay Feely made up for it with 4 field goals.

Top Performers
Jack English - 31.8 QB Rating, 5/19, 122 yds, 1 TD, 2 INT
Jonathan Stewart - 16 att, 42 yds
Terrell Owens - 4 rec, 95 yds, 1 TD
Jay Feely - 4/4 FG attempts; Made: 54, 50, 29, 57

Defensive Players of the Game
Geno Hayes - 8 tackles, 1 sack
Jim Leonhard - 5 tackles, 1 sack, 1 INT

This is really interesting. I am following! Keep it up! I like the addition of the videos, and I don't mind all the crazy trading going down, lol. Keeps it interesting, in my opinion.

Thanks, I haven't put any videos in recent games because I realized I would run out of room for them on my EA Sports World account. But I'm gonna use YouTube videos and do a recap including several highlights.
