A Tecmo Super Bowl Dynasty. (NES)

Well, over the next few weeks and maybe months, I am going to have a lot of time on my hands without having school. So while looking around, looking for something to do, it popped into my head.

Tecmo Super Bowl Dynasty.

That's right, I am going to do a Tecmo Super Bowl Dynasty. Now it won't be a Dynasty in the sense that trading players is possible and what not, but I will be tracking stats, I will do it season to season, and I'm going to try, if I get enough interest, to have the readers weigh in on whom should be the MVP, Comeback player, so on and so forth.

So with that, I'm wondering:
1) People are interested in reading this and
2) People are interested in the whole voting thing.

I am also open to me taking over any team in Tecmo. I would ask that I do not play as the Raiders because it's nearly cheating for me, but do what you wish.

I am in my third "season" of my TSB Dynasty. It is a blast- still the greatest football ever produced. I have yet to win the Super Bowl with my beloved Barry Sanders, but I'll be damned if I give up hope. I picked the Lions, but I really think you should roll with the Colts because they are the worst team in the game. That last game against the Giants is always a season ender for most! Can't wait to see this up and running.

Good idea. I was playing this the other day I have a season with the Seahawks in week 13. I voted Chargers. They are a good underrated team. Solid run game and the oneback offense plus Gil Byrd is a maniac on D. Colts are the toughest challenge, I don't think I ever finished better than 9-7 with them.

I assume this is on an NES cart not a ROM? Will you be using default playbooks for all teams including your own? I used to edit the playbooks for the teams that are reverse heavy since there is a toss sweep, reverse, and reverse flea-flicker on all of them and I always dominated them.

Do you place "handicap" rules on yourself for things like the nose tackle cheat? I always play with the safety on the bottom of the screen to present a little more of a challenge.

I'll definitely follow. Are you going to skip the computer games or actually track the stats from each game?

I am going to try and track stats from other games, however, I guess I cannot promise I will.

I usually play as an OLB or a S in this game. I also try not to run the same play over again.

I also use default playbooks AND I will be playing on the original cart and not the ROM.
