The Future of Rutgers and the Big East (NCAA 10)

Game: NCAA 10
Plan: Simulate all games, providing news that focuses on Rutgers and the Big East.

BIG EAST SEASON PREVIEW
1. West Virginia Mountaineers (#23)
The Mountaineers enter the year as the favorites to win the Big East. In a conference largely disrespected by the media, the Mountaineers were the only team to make it into the preseason top 25.
KEY GAMES: 10-30 at USF, 12-05 at RU

2. Rutgers Scarlet Knights
Rutgers looks to win the conference for the first time. Coming in ranked #2, the Knights hope to get the WVU monkey off their back, and ride a season-ending win all the way to the Big East championship.
KEY GAMES: 11-12 vs USF, 12-05 vs #23 WVU

3. USF Bulls
USF hopes to continue increasing it's prestege (currently ***) with a strong Big East showing. Many feel that they may be underrating coming into the season.
KEY GAMES: 9-26 at #20 FSU, 11-12 at RU

4. Pittsburgh Panthers
Pitt is another team that many feel to be extremely underrated coming into the season. This team could be a force to be reckoned with come December.
KEY GAMES: 10-10 vs UConn, 10-24 vs USF

5. Connecticut Huskies
UCONN looks to be a middle of the pack Big East team this year. However, the Huskies would like to ensure that they are at the top of the middle, not the bottom of it.
KEY GAMES: 9-12 vs #16 UNC, 10-10 at Pitt

6. Cincinnati Bearcats
Universally though to be the most underestimated team in the conference, some crazies have even predicted the Bearcats to go undefeated this year .
KEY GAMES: 10-24 vs UL, 11-07 vs UConn

7. Louisville Cardinals
Well, this is the first team that I'm not going to call underrated. The Cardinals have definitely fallen on tough times. However, they are still a **** prestege team, so they just need to get those good recruits to get the program going in the right direction.
KEY GAMES: 9-26 at #24 Utah, 10-24 at Cin

8. Syracuse Orange
Ah, the Orange have fallen so far. Maybe next year?
KEY GAMES: 9-12 at #8 PSU, 11-14 at UL

P.S. Anyone is free to post in this thread.

WEEK 1 - REGIONALLY TELEVISED BIG EAST GAMES

Rutgers Triumphs Over Conference Rival Cincinnati In Overtime
The Rutgers Scarlet Knights, picked second in the Big East, survived a scare from the Bearcats, winning in overtime on an eight yard touchdown pass from D. Pollock to J. Hester. The Knights are off to a great start, moving to 1-0 in the Big East and ensuring that they will hold the Big East conference lead, at least for the first few weeks.
