Week 4: Texans(2-1) at Titans(1-2)
Weirdest Game Ever Results In Texans Win

Houston, TX--AP:This game was easily the weirdest game in NFL history. The Titans were forced to start punter C. Hentrich at QB because of pre-game injuries to all the other starters. He actually played pretty well for a good portion of the game. But, the Titans forgot to cover Andre Johnson, who had a monster game. After much action, the Texans won huge, 65-37. The Texans did lose Matt Schaub for quite some time with a broken collar bone though.

Re: Houston Texans Franchise

Schaub Has Broken Collarbone

We have just learned that Schaub has a broken collarbone and will be out for an extended period of time, but will not be ruled out for the season yet.

The Texans only have 2 QB's on the roster and have now brought back R. Grossman after failing to re-sign him in the offseason. He has been named the starter.

Heimerdinger had this to say:

"We brought back Grossman because we think he gives us the best chance to win out of anyone out there. We know he is not Matt [Schaub] so we will be changing our offense to better fit Rex."

Dude that sucks its not fun to play with a back-up in franchise i had to play with a rookie for the Giants (I think Brent Bomar?) cause Eli was out the whole season. Good luck with Grossman your going to need it. And I haven't had to face a punter at QB yet thats pretty funny though.

Re: Houston Texans Franchise

Schaub Done For Year; Texans Talk Trade For QB?

Schaub has been placed on injured reserve, ending his season. This comes just one day after Grossman threw 4 ugly picks to doom his team to a loss.

The Texans are now rumored to be in trade talks with several teams for a new QB to finish out the year.
