FCS Southeast Vs South Carolina

Tuned Up

This looked like a tune up game for the Gamecocks.

In a blowout performance, South Carolina picked up over 500 yards of total offense as they dominated, outplayed, and out hustled FCS Southeast 42-3.

The Gamecocks now must get ready for #25 Georgia Bulldogs.

FCS Southeast Cobras couldn't do anything offensively or defensively against a far better team, and appeared to just quit in the second half.

Brad Hall threw for a career high 260 yards and four scores, while four different Gamecocks scored receiving touchdowns.

Karl Lewis added 210 yards on the ground and 114 yards receiving, along with 3 touchdowns in his first career college game.

"Lewis just looked like he was an all-pro playing agianst a high school team" Quote of the day.

#25 Georgia Bulldogs (0-0) Vs South Carolina (1-0)

Trench Warfare

The Bulldogs chalk up a win in a brawler against rival South Carolina.

The Gamecocks tailback Karl Lewis came up big for them down the stretch, rushing for over 70 yards in the second half after being ineffective most of the first half.

South Carolina still had a chance to win late in the 4th quarter but the wide receivers made to many big mistakes to cost them the game. Adrian Marks dropped back to back passes on 3rd and 4th down; both of the passes would have been first downs inside the Bulldogs 20 yard line, with just over 2 minutes left and down by 4.

The Bulldogs quarterback Mike Williams played almost flawless the entire game, going 15-19 with over 180 yards passing and added the only touchdown of the game.

The Gamecocks won't get a chance rest with Alabama (0-1) coming to town.
