WEEK 3 PREVIEW
Houston @ Cincinnati
The Bengals have had a bad start to a season in which noone can make mistakes. Jobs are on the line, head coach Marvin Lewis, especially. He has been in the hot seat for quite some time and Bengals owner Mike Brown has said numerous times he wants to win now. So Sundays game vs. Houston won't be a good way to get things going during an already bad time in Cincinnati.
Carson Palmer supporters were seen outside the team stadium the day the trade was announced, and have since not stopped showing their disapproval of the trade. If the Bengals do not win in the game against Houston, all hell may break loose in Cincinnati.
Onto the Texans, who are 2-0 and off to a great start. They have been without star linebacker Brian Cushing ever since week one due to his suspension, and will be back in week five. However, the team hasn't been doing bad without him, so one is to wonder how dominant the team will be when he gets back.
Sunday Night Football (NBC)
Cleveland @ New York Jets
The Browns are, as usual not doing too good. They are 0-2 and they have virtually no offense. Their running game is nearly non existant and QB Seneca Wallace has been less than mediocre. They have the fourth worst rushing game in the league, which is surprising given Jerome Harrison's breakout year and the offensive line they have stacked up.
The Jets aren't too spectacular on offense either, but they don't need to be with the defense they have, which is the best in the league so far.
Monday Night Football (ESPN)
Green Bay @ St. Louis
After a shootout in Arizona last week, the Rams look to do the same in their own stadium, although it will definitely be difficult given the Green Bay defense, which has almost always been one of the best in the NFL. This season is no different.
Players always like to give their extra effort on Monday Night Football, so expect a hard fought game by both teams, regardless.
