Re: "Fight Back - Sacrifice" - A Cinncinati Bengals Franchise
Thanks a lot, man. Glad to here it!
--------------------------------- WEEK 4 PREVIEW Cincinnati @ Baltimore The schedule makers of the NFL have not been particuarily kind to the Bengals. Just two weeks after a physically and crushing defeat from the hands of the Ravens, at the Bengals own home field, Cincinnati must travel to Baltimore to take on the Ravens again. The only difference, this time the Ravens fans get to put some hits on the Bengals as well. The Bengals, however, are coming off of a win vs. Houston last week. Although it wasn't an easy victory, it eased the minds of the players & staff. Until now. The 'Ray'-vens (see: Rice, Ray. Lewis, Ray) are no walk in the park. They are the furthest thing from it. They crush you on defense and run all over you on offense. Sunday Night Football (NBC) Indianapolis @ Philidelphia What a heartbreaking start to the season for last years AFC champions. The Colts are 1-2 and have lost 2 divisional games so far. Now they must travel to Philadelphia where the Eagles and their fans are some of the loudest, toughest in the NFL. Although Peyton Manning maybe one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history, that doesn't scare the Eagles defense. Eagles CB Asante Samuel said friday afternoon "Peyton Who?". Some strong words from one of the top cornerbacks in the league. Monday Night Football (ESPN) New England @ Miami The AFC East got the good end of the stick when it comes to prime-time games. The division has played in a Monday or Sunday night game every week so far. The NFL's Schedule Supervisor said "It's all just a matter of coincidence. We work with concert promoters and others to get the best dates possible. Nothing more, nothing less." Regardless, the Patriots and Dolphins are psyched for Mondays game. Although the Dolphins are without their mouth, Joey Porter, who was picked up by the Cardinals in the off season so there hasn't been much trash talk going on this time around. Although Patriots MLB Jerod Mayo said Tuesday "I'll outrun Pat White, out think Chad Henne and knock out Chad Pennington. Bring it." Re: "Fight Back - Sacrifice" - A Cinncinati Bengals Franchise
Bengals WR Chad Ochocinco catches a 62 yard touchdown pass from QB Adam Tucker. BENGALS GET 'RAVEN'GE DEF. RAVENS 29-22 NFL.COM -- It was another nail-biter. The Bengals came out firing on all cylinders, giving the Ravens -11 total yards in the first quarter. Chad Ochocinco came to play, catching 6 balls for 123 yards, including a 62 yard strike early in the third quarter. The Ravens didn't play as well. Joe Flacco threw two interceptions, and wasn't even in the positive range as far as yardage goes to end the first quarter. Completing just one pass. The Ravens defense wasn't their normal self, allowing 450 yards, including 272 passing yard and Ray Lewis dropped two likely interceptions that would've changed the game. Lewis even admitted that in his post game "We can't do that man. I can't do that. Thats not how you play football. Thats not why I get paid. I get paid to knock somebody out. I get paid to turn the game around and I didn't do that today". Bengals QB Adam Tucker continues to have a great year, having thrown for 1,054 yards, 6 TD to only 1 interception. He's completed 50% of his passes, but the year is still young, so he may continue to impress and improve, or fall off at the end of the year. The Bengals head to Carolina to take on the 1-2 panthers next week, while the Ravens have a bye, which is probably good after the game they just had.

Re: "Fight Back - Sacrifice" - A Cinncinati Bengals Franchise
THE "SUSPENDED 3" RETURN THIS WEEK NFL.COM -- For the first time since week 17 of last season Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger, Jets WR Santonio Holmes and Texans LOLB Brian Cushing will play in an NFL game. All three were suspended (for different, unrelated reasons) for the first four games of this season and are now able to return to the field. If either superstar athlete fails to meet the leagues standards again, they could miss all of next season. The Steelers are 1-3, at the bottom of their division, although backup Byron Leftwich has filled in greatly, throwing for 671 yard, 6 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. He has completed 62% of his passes. It is the running game that has the Steelers in the pits. The Jets are not doing well passing, but have never played with Holmes, so it is unknown how well they will mesh together. They are 3-1. The Texans are 3-1, at the top of their division and have beaten the AFC champion Colts. They have done just fine without Cushing, but his return is definitely a need. AROUND THE LEAGUE: YOUNG OUT FOR SEASON Vince Young is out for the season, fracturing his elbow in Sundays game. The Titan's only other Quarterback is fifth round pick Daniel Spragg. He has thrown 2 interceptions while filling in for Young. Re: "Fight Back - Sacrifice" - A Cinncinati Bengals Franchise
WEEK 5 PREVIEW Miami @ Cincinnati Bengals are on a two-game win streak and are finally getting in sync as far as the passing game goes. Their rushing attack has taken a hit as Cedric Benson cannot seem to be consistent. Danny Amendola has stepped up in the receiving, punt and kick returns. He looks like he will mature into a Wes Welker type threat. The Dolphins are third in the AFC East and have added some big names to their roster. Brandon Marshall and Karlos Dansby have been a disappointment, however. Marshall has only 21 catches in 4 games, a number he achieved in one game last year with the broncos. Dansby has been injured for the majority of the season so far and is expected to miss at least 3 more week with a broken hand. It remains to be see what type of team the Bengals are. They ran well in one week, not so much in the other. Same goes for passing, although Tucker has been great lately. The Dolphins are well-oiled rushing team, although QB Pat White hasn't been much of a help passing, or running. The wildcat isn't as good as it once was. Sunday Night Football (NBC) Kansas City @ Oakland Two of the worst teams from last season go head-to-head in a Sunday Night Football game. Commissioner Roger Goodell said last February he wanted to bring more competition to the lower ranking teams and a prime time football game is the best way to do that. These young teams are looking to make a name for themselves in front of the entire country. The Raiders are again, at the bottom of their division, though, while the Chiefs are working their way up and are now #2 in the AFC West. Monday Night Football (ESPN) Dallas @ Minnesota The Cowboys are out for revenge for a game from last year, where Keith Brooking says the Vikings "intentionally ran up the score. Classless." Maybe the Vikings are out for revenge to, sticking up for their organization. Brett Favre has been fantastic this year, as he was last year. Adrian Peterson has 442 rushing yards, along with 5 touchdowns. The Cowboys have a middle-of-the-pack defense, that hasn't been spectacular, but has gotten the job done on different occasions. Re: "Fight Back - Sacrifice" - A Cinncinati Bengals Franchise
Panthers RB DeAngelo Williams runs through the Bengals defense. ONE SIDED CAT-FIGHT PANTHERS DEF. BENGALS 57-17 NFL.COM -- What an awful game to sit through if you're a Bengals fan. The Panthers ran through and flew past the Bengals defense for 60 minutes on Sunday afternoon. DeAngelo Williams gained nearly 250 rushing yards on 44 attempts, and the Carolina passing game still had time to get the Moore to Moore combination 4 TDs as Lance Moore had somewhat of a breakout game. Bengals QB Adam Tucker had just 78 passing yards, and threw an interception that got the Panthers going again late in the game. It was the Bengals worst game of the season and Tucker had his first post-game press conference after being one of the quietest starting QBs in the league. Tucker, in his pads & jersey, said "I may only be a rookie, but I guarantee you I didn't come here to lose. I didn't come here to help the Bengals lose. I came here to give everything I have to give, and to give this city it's first Super Bowl championship. Cincinnati deserves better out of myself, and the entire team. I can tell you from here on out, I will NOT let anything like this happen again and I don't plan on losing from here on out, whether it is 57-17 or 18-17". Tucker then picked up his gym bag and left the podium in a room where you could here a pin drop. If the Bengals don't plan on losing anymore, they certainly have their work cut out for them.
