2010 Season Outlook

Season Outlook.png
Welcome to the first annual OCNN NFL Season Outlook.

Here, we will look ahead in our crystal ball to see what the future holds for the NFL fans and it's teams. We will also take a look at the upcoming 2011 NFL draft which is said to include the best QB class since 1983.

2010 SEASON PREDICTIONS
BENGALS
Firstly, being biased and taking a look at the Bengals.

Here at OCNN we would like to wish and hope that the Bengals can at least make the playoffs this year, but with each game they play, it seems more and more unlikely.

The decision to trade QB Carson Palmer doesn't seem to help either, as he has the Seahawks at the top of their division since 2007. The Bengals are struggling with rookie QB Adam Tucker, with him completing just 48% of his passes. We may seem a little harsh with our criticism since he is in his first year of NFL play, however, he has big expectations filling in for former first overall pick Palmer.

The rest of the team is to blame, aswell, with Cedric Benson being inconsistent, and his backup Bernard Scott seemingly doing a better job. Apply that, along with an inconsistent defense and you have the makings of another bad year for the fans of Cincinnati.

PLAYOFFS
It may be early just yet, but we couldn't wait to dive right into predicting the season's outcome.

We see it going down like this:
AFC
Division Winners:
East
: Patriots
West: Chargers
North: Ravens
South: Jaguars
AFC Wildcard:
Jets, Colts

NFC Division Winners:
East
: Eagles
West:
Seahawks
North: Vikings
South: Falcons
NFC Wildcard:
Saints, Packers

LEAGUE AWARDS:
MVP Leaders:
Matt Schaub
QB Texans
116.0 Rating, 1427 YDs, 15 TD, 1 INT

Steven Jackson
RB Rams
100 ATT, 739 YDs, 6 TD, 7.3 Avg.

Offensive Player Leaders:
Matt Schaub
QB Texans
116.0 Rating, 1427 YDs, 15 TD, 1 INT

Steven Jackson
RB Rams
100 ATT, 739 YDs, 6 TD, 7.3 Avg.

Defensive
Player Leaders:
Orlando Sykes
LOLB Cowboys, Rookie
37 TCK, 3 SCK, 2 INT

Robert Geathers
LE Bengals
21 TCK, 9 SCK, 1 FR, 1 TD

DRAFT OUTLOOK
Top 15 Players:
1. QB Jack English
2. QB Dane Morrow
3. QB Kelly James
4. SS Will Barkley
5. HB Leron James
6. LE Raevon Hines
7. FS Prince Justin
8. RG Patrick Boma
9. WR Jamarion Bellows
10. CB Juran Riley
11. RE Jordan Kanda
12. LT Javon Jackson
13. MLB Mack Jackson
14. ROLB Josh Sneed
15. CB Julian Craft

There hasn't been any standout DT this year, although Alain Jackson has impressed some within the league with his strength. It seems like 1983 all over again, with three fantastic first round QBs that will most likely be taken within the top ten picks.

Stay tuned to OCNN throughout the year for more on the NFL season, and the NFL draft.

Thanks for reading!

OCNN Question of the month:
Who will win the NFC South:
a.) Falcons will remain undefeated.
b.) Falcons will lose, but win division.
c.) Saints will comeback to win.
d.) Panthers or Buccaneers.

Week 6 Preview

WEEK 6 PREVIEW

Cincinnati @ Buffalo
It's now or never for the Bengals. Yes, it may be early on still, but the team is fuming after the 57-17 loss against the Panthers. They will either let it get the best of them and lay down in defeat for the rest of the year, or come out firing on all cylinders, and, to borrow a line from Herm Edwards; "Play to win the game!". The locker room has been 1,000 yard stares and game faces all week, and barely anyone spoke to the press.

All that was said by WR Chad Ochocinco was "Buffalo, look out."

I say B -- Falcons will lose a couple of games but still win the division...

Re: "Fight Back - Sacrifice" - A Cinncinati Bengals Franchise

Gonna do some quick updates, trying to get season going faster. Franchise is going well i think. Best one I've done in madden, since I'm finally keeping track of things other than my own team.
