Week 3 Tampa Bay @ Bristol Bay

Bucks Get Raided By Vipers

The battle of the worst teams in the league last year, but one team looked much more improved and the other looked lost. This game was close for about a quarter, and then the Randolph and Edwards show came alive for the first time this year.

Jay Randolph hit Travontae Edwards on three straight scoring drives, the first was a 71 yard touchdown pass, and then a 7 yard touchdown pass and the last was a 59 yard touchdown pass. Edwards wasnt done there, after The Buccaneers managed to get another field goal to make it a 21-9 game, The Buccaneers kickoff to Edwards (big mistake), and Edwards took it 98 yards for his 4th touchdown of the first half. Edwards would finish the game with 159 yards receiving and 176 kick return yards with 4 total touchdowns.

Jay Randolph completed a career high 12 straight passes as he finished the game with a prefect quarterback rating. Randolph much like Edwards was perfect; Randolph completed 16 of 19 for 254 yards and 3 touchdowns.

The Vipers defense forced 3 sacks and intercepted Josh Freeman once. Freeman didnt look comfortable at all, completing only half of his passes. Tampa Bay had the ball for only 17 minutes as they lose 47-9 and fall to 0-3.

Bristol Bay will get ready to face the 3-0 Patriots.

Week 4 Bristol Bay @ New England

Brady Sparks Patriots In A Comeback

Bristol Bay and New England traded punch after punch in the first half, with Bristol Bay landing the last one right before half when Jay Randolph scored on a quarterback draw. With that score it gave The Vipers the upper hand going into halftime, 24-17.

On The Patriots first drive of the second half, Tom Brady led The Pats down the field before stalling out due a holding penalty on a 3rd down completion. The Patriots sent out Stephen Gostkowski for a 52 yard field goal attempt witch he was good, Gostkowski had already hit a 23 yarder in the first half. 24-20 Vipers.

Both teams failed to move the ball affectly on their next drives, both drives ended in punts. The Vipers finaly got something going. Jay Randolph hit Travontae Edwards for a 24 yard pass to keep the drive from stalling again. Later in the drive, J.T. McKenzie broke a 13 yard run to put them into field goal range. After 3 straight incomplete passes, The Vipers were forced to kick a 34 yard field goal, making it a 27-20 after 3 quarters.

The 4th quarter was all Patriots. The Patriots would score 10 unanswered points in the 4th. The first would come by the way of a Tom Brady touchdown pass to Randy Moss, Moss's second touchdown of the game. With the score tied at 27 and just over 2 minutes left, The Vipers took over at their own 20 yard line. After 2 failed passing attempts, Jay Randolph tried to make something out of nothing, forcing the pass into a tight window. Terrence Wheatley jumped the pass and picked it off. That gave The Patriots the ball, also putting them in field goal range to win the game. The Patriots ran the ball 3 straight times and kicked the field goal giving them a 30-27 lead. With only a minute left, The Vipers offense just couldnt get anything going.

The Vipers fall to 2-2 heading into their bye week.

Re: Bristol Bay Vipers (Madden 2010)

I expected you to beat the Raiders, but not that bad, heck even the Patriots had to make a comeback against you. Looking like your team improved ALOT.

I think you mean The Bucks, The Bucks had very slow cornerbacks so Edwards just killed them. As for The Patriots, they had no pass defense but i just couldnt stop Welker. If i had another good cornerback like Fabian Washington I would have beaten them.

Im shocked just like you. It funny tho cuz now Detroit is 4-1 and Green Bay is 0-4 after they met in week 5, 17-10 Detroit. It like the roles have been switched.
