In a very ugly game that featured 8 total turnovers, The Bristol Bay Vipers smashed The Steelers and took over as the team to beat in the AFC North (might be a little early to say that). The Steelers had an edge in every category but for turnovers, which favored The Vipers 5-3. For all the turnovers The Vipers won easily 24-10 with The Steelers only touchdown coming with just minutes left.
The Vipers defense was led by hard hitting safety Patrick Hunter who had 12 tackles, a fumble recover which was returned for a touchdown. 3 other defensive players force fumbles and 3 other had interceptions (A.Gilbert (played only one play and still got an interception), F.Washington and S.Buckley).
The Vipers will travel to Baltimore to see if they are a true contender.
Side Note - Aaron Wheeler: 2 Tackles, Pass Defl, FF
