Week 10 St. Louis @ Bristol Bay

Vipers Knock Off The Rams

Bristol Bay Vipers completely shut down Steve Jackson in a big win over The Rams 27-19. The Vipers defense held Jackson to only 30 yards rushing on 14 attempts but couldnt stop him from being an impact player. Jackson had 6 catches for 121 yards out of the back field. Jay Randolph kept his hot streak going with an amazing performance, 22/34 for 304 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Vipers held The Rams to only 4 field goals and one touchdown. The only touchdown allowed by The Vipers defense was a late pass by Marc Bulger to Avery with just over 1 minute left (which made the score look close).

Side Note: Aaron Wheeler - 3 Tackles, 1 Pass Defl.

Week 11 Bristol Bay @ Arizona

No Leinart No Problem Right?

The Arizona Cardinals without QB Matt Leinart stun The Vipers in an overtime thriller, 30-24. You might be asking yourself how that is possible; I got 2 words for your.....Dan Orlovsky. Orlovsky played like a seasoned vet, completing 25 of 40 passes for 389 yards and 2 touchdowns. He tossed a 53 yard touchdown pass to Steve Breaston in overtime to give The Cardinals the win. Dan Orlovsky also drove The Cardinals 57 yards in less than 2 minutes to put The Cardinals in field goal range to send the game into overtime. Orlovsky didnt do it all by himself tho, Beanie Wells clipped in with 117 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns. With the loss to The Cardinals, The Vipers now have no room for error as The Steelers have now won 5 games in a row and improved to 7-3, same as The Vipers but The Vipers have the tie breaker (somebody get a crash cart in here).
