The Denver Broncos gave all they could but still fell short, 27-17. The Vipers found away to pull out a close game in Denver. J.T. McKenzie's 53 yard touchdown run broke the tie late in the 4th quarter. Then Rocco Lattimore made the only mistake in the game, Lattimore threw an interception inside The Broncos own 30 yard line with just over 3 minutes left. The Vipers sealed the game with an Oliver Lacy 32 yard field goal to give them a 10 point led and ending any hopes of a comeback for The Broncos. The Vipers defense came up with a team record of 7 sacks (Darron Tucker 2, Michael Hobbs 2, Ronald Santiago 2, Scott Buckley 1). Jay Randolph continues to dominate, 22 for 27 for 261 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Vipers have another easy match up next week against The Pamlerless Raiders who are winless this season (0-6).

The Vipers hold off The Raiders 2nd half comeback to pull out a 27-20 win. The Vipers defense helps out the offense by forcing 4 turnovers and scoring a touchdown. Carson Palmer throws for 431 yards and 2 touchdowns in his first game back but throws 2 costly interceptions that cost The Raiders the game. The 1st interception was returned for a touchdown by Patrick Hunter on the 2nd play of the game and the 2nd one led to a Jay Randolph touchdown pass that made it a 2 possession game late in the 4th quarter. Jay Randolph continues to make his statement for the MVP award with another great game, 19/27 for 231 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Vipers improve to 7-1 and will travel to Pittsburgh to face The 3-4 Steelers.
