The Vipers hold on to get their 2nd win of the season, in a game that went right down to the wire, but this time it was The Vipers who made the plays when it matter most. (The first game Pittsburgh scored 10 unanswered points in the 4th to come from behind)
In the 2nd match up between rivals, it was The Steelers who made the costly mistakes and The Vipers took full advantage of them. The first turnover gave The Vipers the lead that they wouldnt give up the rest of the game. In the 2nd quarter with just over 45 seconds left, The Steelers were facing a 3rd and 15 at their own 5 yard line, instead of running the ball and punting Coach Mike Tomlin went with a pass, hopeing that they could get the first down and run the remaining clock out. But the pass resulted in an overthrow because of the pressure by the front 4, and the pass ended up in FS Antonio Gilberts hands. The drive was capped off in a 2 yard run by FB Brain Larsen, giving The Vipers a 17-10 lead at halftime.
The 2nd Pittsburgh turnover ended the game, after scoring a touchdown late in the 4th quarter Pittsburgh recovered the onside kick, down by only 2 points due to a blocked extra point by Troy Polamalu. The Steelers were almost in field goal range when tightend Heath Miller tryed to get extra yards on a first down play when Ray Edwards striped him clean and recovered the fumble ending The Steelers chances at pulling out a comeback.

I will cover 4 players every other week for the rest of the season.
I like this 'chise a lot. I like how you handled the trade and I want to see how the Vipers bounce back after a 41-3 loss.
Thankz for following, yea i needed to make a move before the trade deadline, but it hasnt worked out for me

Carson Palmer gets his revenge against the Owner who sent him and other formal Bengals packing. Carson Palmer was almost flawless today, going 16 for 22 for 253 yards and 2 touchdowns in a big time blowout to give The Raiders a 5-5 record on the season. Its their first .500 record in years.
The Raiders offense was only stopped once during the whole game, and that due to the time running out before halftime. The Raiders offense converted 7 of 11 3rd downs and rushed for almost 200 yards on the worst defense in league.
The Raiders defense also joined the party, forcing 4 turnover and sacking Jay Randolph 4 times. Nnamdi Asomugha added 2 interceptions to his already league leading 6 and shutdown half of the field.
The Vipers defense got its 3 sack this year,(witch is sad). On the season The Vipers have more interceptions (4) than sacks (3), which is one of the many reasons The Vipers have the worst defense in the league and also have given up an amazing 353 points in 10 games. Thats right 35 points a game.....SAD isnt it.
The Vipers will host the Cleveland Browns who have fallin to 3-7 on the season.

wow tough loss, and with palmer of all people as QB, looks like its gonna be rough and tough, but somethin tells me vipers are gonna jump back. Amazing work so far.
two straight blow outs in a row Hopefully you can shake those 2 losses off and start winning and maybe get around 6 wins this season.
i actually got a win in between the 2 blowouts versus the steelers, i might be able to pull out 2-3 more wins if im lucky. i have cleveland (3-7) detroit (3-6-1) and minnesota (3-6-1) left, so 4-12 wouldnt be bad for the 1st year.
