Re: Week 11 Recap

Bo Williams seems like he might be a decent pick, if his speed increases a bit. Richard McCall also seems decent, since injury rating is quite high i suppose his performance is questionable. do you really need a strong back at this point in time?

No,i guess i really dont need a runningback, but if one of them are the best players left when its my pick i might take them because as of right now the only things i dont need are a quarterback, left guard, left tackle and defensive end. But I really need team speed on my defense.

Week 12 Cleveland @ Bristol Bay

Browns Wear Out Vipers Defense

Cleveland Browns wear out The Vipers defense in the second half, putting up 24 points after only managing 3 points in the half, to win 27-21.

The Browns completely outplayed The Vipers even tho the score was so close. The Browns had the ball for over 32 minutes and ran almost double what The Vipers ran. The Browns also ran for more yards (220) than the pass happy Vipers threw for (202).

Going into the 4th quarter The Browns had a small lead 17-14, but thats when the fireworks went off. First Brady Quinn hit Steve Heidan for a 14 yard touchdown pass to extend their lead to 24-14 with just over 8 minutes left.

But thats when The Vipers got things going, Jay Randolph hit Ronyell Patterson on perfect out route in the back of the endzone to cut the lead to 24-21 with just over 3 minutes left.

But in the end, The Vipers defenses was just to wore out to make a stand, letting The Browns 2 headed backfield run off 3 minutes while setting them up for a field goal.

The Vipers got the ball back with just over 15 seconds left, down 27-21 and no timeouts. The Vipers hopes ran out when Jay Randolph hit Travontae Edwards but was stopped before he could get out of bounces and the clock ran out, and killed any comeback attemp.

The Vipers fall to 2-9 and will face The Detroit Lions (3-7-1) who lost to Green Bay 19-6.

Week 13 Detroit @ Bristol Bay

Thriller From Down Under!

On a rainy, cold day at Bristol Bay Memorial came the best game of the week. The Vipers hold off The Detroit Lions to win 24-21 thanks to Tony Goosen and The Vipers defense.

Tony Goosen continues to impress fans and other NFL coachs. Goosen ran for 89 yards on 21 carries and a touchdown. Goosen also added a receiving touchdown that put the Vipers up late in the 3th quarter.

The Vipers defense has stepped up their game the last 2 weeks. Over the last 2 games The Vipers defense has 4 sacks and 3 interceptions witch totals the number of interceptions and sacks they had in their first 10 games and also havent allowed more than 27 points in those 2 games.

The Detroit Lions came out strong during the first half, but the heavy rain killed their passing game in the 2nd half, forceing them to run the ball against a much improve defensive front for The Vipers. Detroit only had 53 yards on the ground.

Calvin Johnson and Chad Ochocinco did they part to keep the Lions in the game. Johnson had 6 catches, 124 yards and a touchdown but all of it came in the first half. Chad Ochocinco had both of his catches on The Lions only scoring drive in the second half, Chad finished with 2 catches, 64 yards and a touchdown.

The Vipers will travel to Minnesota who improved their record to 4-7-1, but are a very beatable team.
