2008 Draft Results

Rookie Draft Results:

Hey Rodney Miller, here to bring you the rookie results from this weeks draft!

So lets kick things off with the predictable pick by the San Antonio Saints. They picked up the rookie QB Justin Bolt, and it appears they are having him at starter even though many veterans were open for taking.

They also picked up the rookie WR T.J. Sizemore. This kid is a rocket, he has an incredible speed(98), compared to other receivers in the league.

The Louisville Panthers made some unexpected pick. I would have guessed they pick up a seasoned player but instead they grabbed two long-shot rookies. QB Peter Blake, and young WR Tyler Stumvoll. These players best show what they got or they could be on the trade block quick!

Fargo Phasers took a huge risk with HB Oshea Launier (OVR 72) and he has yet to show much.

The South Carolina Rebels grabbed a well rounded rookie WR Aaron Wheeler.

While the Birmingham Bandits quickly grabbed the rookie RB Quincy Turner!

The preseason schedule is being finalized, so check back shortly!

this is Rodney Miller, and im off again!

Re: United Football League.

Louisville gets teleported by Munfordville

During the first pre-season game, it was an obvious blowout. During the first quarter the Magic Defense showed exactly why they are here, with 2 sacks and a 47 yd interception returned for a TD. Rookie QB Peter Blake obtained a rating of 47.6 and threw for 250 yds. Though he was a long-shot, he is putting up a hell of an effort. He also threw 2 interceptions and rushed for 1 yd.

During the second quarter, the Panthers had to put a score up. Down 24-0 they had no other choice but to get some numbers on the board. After Rookie QB Peter Blake argued with the coach, he was sent onto the field, raged, and ready for anything. With a picture perfect pass to Rookie WR Tyler Stumvoll, who broke a tackle to run up the field 67 yards into the endzone. Magics Defense held its own as T. Luhr returned another interception for 62 yds and a TD! this sent the panthers into the locker room at half time, with their heads down.

After half-time in the 3rd quarter the Panther defense just gave the league an idea of just how bad they were. when they allowed a 50 yd field goal from Magic's Kicker E. Rutledge. Panther offense also seemed to be out of their right minds, as they threw another interception returned TD for 39 yds.

In the 4th quarter, the Panthers were at an obvious state of loss. Though they pushed hard and were able to obtain 2 more TDs. While Magic, put salt on the Panthers already deep wound, by running in 1 more.

In the end the score was:
Munfordville Magic - 55
Louisville Panthers - 24
