Good luck buddy. Looking forward to it. Interesting choice with Kentucky. Let's see if you can build the football program into the same type of historic rep that the BBall program has.

Four Players Given Extra Season of Seasoning

Coach Joker Phillips has decided that four of his incoming freshmen weren't going to have a chance to contribute at all this season. With that said, they have received a red shirt for the season, allowing them an extra fifth season of eligibility down the road.

Halfback
Brandon Gainer sat 6th on the depth chart, but with three seniors on the squad, he should see a few carries next season. He's got a lot to work on and hopefully this year will give him a chance to show the coaching staff he belongs.

The mammoth left tackle,
Teven Eatmon (6'7", 280 lbs.) was the only other offensive player to be red-shirted. He's got the size, but he doesn't quite have the tools yet. He could end up being released of his scholarship if he doesn't show the improvement by this time next year.

Tim Patterson
, a 6'5", 225 lbs. LOLB looks to be the best prospect of the four being withheld from the roster this season. Next season, he could challenge current sophomore Ridge Wilson for the starting position.

Last, but not least, is CB
Dale Trimble. He looks to be a great prospect as he's already the best tackler of all the corners on the roster and should be an absolute pest in man coverage.

These four kids must be upset that they won't have a chance to play this season, but it's for the best for their career's.

Re: SEC Surprise: Kentucky Wildcats (NCAA 2011)

Nice win over Lousville, looks like you had to come from behind right before the half. Looks like Locke had a pretty good game just couldn't eclipse the 100yd mark.
