Battle for the Megaphone

The Megaphone Trophy is awarded each year to the winner of the football game between the University of Notre Dame and Michigan State University. It was introduced in 1949. The Notre Dame side of the trophy is blue, while the Michigan State side is green. The rivalry includes many great games, such as The Game of the Century, arguably the greatest college football game ever played. Notre Dame currently leads the all-time series 46-28-1.

L. Caper(#22) celebrates with A. Williams(#33) after pounding the ball into the end zone from 1 yard out. Caper had another 100+ rushing day, but it just wasn't enough to get the win.

E. Baker(#4) puts the Spartans up late in the 4th, with this 8 yard scamper. Baker put up good numbers, averaging 5.1 yards on 11 carries and putting up 2 touchdowns.

J. Boisture(#7) just could bring MSU back late in the 4th. Boisture didn't have a good day, completing less than 40% of his passing and throwing a pick.
