This is gonna be one of the toughest and most important games this year, for MSU. The Spartans are gonna need Caper to perform like he has the past two games, too quiet this loud crowd and keep the ball in MSUs hand as much as possible. Plus, Cousins is gonna have to show up for this big game and throw smart pass.

Review:
This was a heartbreaking loss for MSU fans and a nail bitter for Iowa fans. MSU jumped to an early lead thanks to Cousins effective passing, then it went down hill in the last two quarters. Then once again, Caper stepped up and brought the Spartans very close to knocking off the Hawkeyes.

C. Jude(#94) sacks J. Vandenberg(#16). The Spartans defense got very good pressure on the QB, but it just wasn't enough.

L. Caper(#22) dives into the end zone late in the 4th Quarter to put MSU up 17-14.

K. Cousins(#8) winds up a pass to M. Dell. Cousins just didn't have enough time to bring the Spartans back.

Tough loss. Still a close one. I'm sure it was still exciting.
