WSU 21, WCU 14

The Catamounts lost 21-14 today at home vs. WSU. They just couldn't defend the last play, which was a game winning TD.

"It was tough, and we tried hard," said WCU QB.

Next week WCU will play FCS East.

Tough loss following though

WSU 47, FCS East 7

WCU went off an a great scoring spree today, and won 47-7 against FCS East. FCS East only scored once, and it was on a once-in-a-game drive. They did not do much for the rest of the game.

WCU plays big time offensive sets, and it payed off vs. a weak FCS East D. WCU will play a pretty good Wyoming team next week, and the schedule should present some winnable games vs. teams like NC A&T State and VMI, who WCU is much better than, despite the fact that they were both FCS teams before the big switches.
