- NAUFAHU TAHI - FB - MIN - Season (Torn Pectoral Muscle)
- SHAWNE MERRIMAN - LB - SD - Season (Complete ACL Tear)
- SHAUN ROGERS - DT - CLE - 6 Weeks (Partial MCL Tear)
- BRANDON MARSHALL - WR - MIA - 3 Weeks (Torn Shoulder Labrum)
AROUND THE LEAGUE:
-
New Orleans got it's first win of the season, defeating
the Falcons.
-
Shawne Merriman will NOT be traded. He is out for the year and it'll be better for
the Chargers to wait and let his contract run out at the end of the season than to release him, which would be appealed and go through courts anyway.
-
Orlando Pace has signed a 1-year deal with the Browns, coming out of 'retirement'. This will more than likely be it for him.
-
Miami has released QB
Pat White. He had been asking for release or trade and has gotten his wish. He wants to start (like everyone else).
-
Oakland has signed
Antonio Pierce to a 1-year deal as well, making the signings of 'retirees' go to two this week. Odd.
