- ANTONIO GATES - TE - SD - 10 Weeks (Broken Hand)
- GENO HAYES - ROLB - TB - 10 Weeks (Dislocated Hip)

- JOE FLACCO - QB - BAL - 3 Weeks (Dislocated Elbow)
- DALLAS CLARK - TE - IND - 2 Weeks (Upper Arm Fracture)

AROUND THE LEAGUE:
- BREAKING NEWS: Drew Brees and Donovan McNabb are both out 8 and 9 weeks, practically ending their teams seasons.

- The trade deadline ends next Tuesday at 12am. It'll be interesting to see if any teams make any moves; big or small, within the week, especially with the Vincent Jackson saga.

- TRADE: Vikings QB Sage Rosenfels to the Redskins for a 6th round draft choice.

- Vikings sign CB Ken Lucas to a 2-year deal.

- As each week passes, Revis is losing his pull in this battle between himself and the Jets. They are winning, although they are one of the worst pass defenses in the league. It's still early, but we don't see anything going down soon. He's being fined each week and the Jets are really the ones in control.

Tough loss. Why didn't you run the ball more?

Re: Favre's Finale - A Vikings Franchise

It was.

I actually never thought of it while playing actually, i used my gameplan, but when a run is chosen and i see an all out blitz (i removed CPU corner blitz' in gameplanning, it's too easy to read & cheap tbh) I audible to a pass. It's something I need to work on since I'm only completing 50%.

Thanks for the input!

BTW, I blocked my first punt in the dolphins game, forgot to mention. Unfortunately the punter seems to recover it and as soon as he touches it, the play is dead. Is that a real rule? I'd figure he'd be a ball carrier at that point, allowing me to knock the **** out of him? Oh well. I got a first down in their 20.

Week 6 Preview

WEEK 6 PREVIEW

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. -- Dallas struts into Mall of America Field after defeating Chris Johnson and the Titans in Tennessee.

Minnesota crawls into the dome with a 2-2 record after losing to the Jets last week.

It has been said throughout the season that the Vikings need to run the ball more, and get Adrian Peterson more involved on the ground. He is doing very well catching the ball, but thats not why he was drafted in 2007. Many believe the team is relying on Brett Favre too much. They let Favre manage the game last year and he had arguably his best season out of the 20. If the Vikings can get back to what works, they will no doubt be a contender. Right now, people are getting images of Favre's 2008 stint with the Jets (going 8-8, missing the playoffs).

Dallas wants to be the first team to play at home in the Super Bowl and they have a very good chance of doing that 6 weeks into the year.

If the Vikings coaching staff listens to it's fans and the media even just a little bit, I believe we could see a resurgence and a win on Sunday evening.

Re: Week 6 Preview

Just got caught up. What's up with all the injuries. Holy crap, everyone is going down.

I am surprised you couldn't get more then a 6th Rounder for Sage with New Orleans,Washington, and Kansas City all without their starting QB's.

It's good to see Javon Walker playing well again. I always liked him. I expect him to take advantage of S. Rice being out in real life as well.

I just drafted Vincent Jackson to 2 of my Fantasy teams, so I sure hope he signs a contract or gets traded in real life sooner then your dynasty.

Thanks for following.

I'm controlling all 32 teams, which is why I have the storylines I have. I like to make sure that franchise players don't get let go for no reason, and just to take control, while having a good deal of realism.

Jackson is suspended for 2 or 3 games and than can't play 3 weeks after that since he is on some list. So I do believe he will be out at least 5-6 weeks in reality. I like him, so I'd hope he'd get signed too. I believe he deserves top WR money but the LT is much more important and long term.
