Re: The Career of Bryan Dodge (NCAA11)
OHIO STATE IS THE 2013 NATIONAL CHAMP!!! Many College Football experts across the nation where hoping for a a OSU vs Alabama/Tennessee Matchup after Michigan failed to make it to their 3rd straight National Title game, instead the got the unlikely matchup of #1 OSU vs #2 North Carolina. The Tar Heels gave the Buckeyes a much tougher game then anyone would've imagined as they took the field with 2 minutes to play down 21-27, but OSU's "D" would hold up forcing a turnover on 4th down to hold on for the victory and their 2nd National Title in the past 4 years. OTHER NOTEABLE BOWL RESULTS Alabama-38 Texas-24 Oregon-33 BYU-28 LSU-26 Wisconsin-6 Oklahoma-41 West Virginia-17 Utah-34 FIU-20 Michigan-45 Tennessee-41 Penn State-31 Kentucky-0 Michigan State-34 Arkansas-10 Florida-45 Texas Tech-31 Miami FL-59 South Carolina-27 Notre Dame-24 Oklahoma State-0 Georgia-31 USF-17 Kansas State-37 Nebraska-35 USC-50 Boston College-29 Arizona-42 Tulsa-17 Florida State-34 Western Michigan-14 UCLA-31 Kansas-17 Louisville-31 New Mexico State-21 Northwestern-25 Maryland-24 Navy-42 Bowling Green-0 Virginia Tech-27 San Diego State-7 Clemson-16 Auburn-9 Cal-27 Colorado State-17 Georgia Tech-33 Texas A&M-14 Purdue-42 Centeral Michigan-14 Hawaii-34 Marshall-9 Boise State-24 Iowa-21 Stanford-28 Fresno State-20 Wyoming-39 SMU-36 ECU-37 Pitt-20 Missouri-35 Troy-23 FINAL TOP-25 MEDIA POLL #1 Ohio State #2 Alabama #3 LSU #4 North Carolina #5 Oregon #6 Oklahoma #7 BYU #8 Michigan #9 Miami FL #10 Texas #11 Wisconsin #12 Tennessee #13 Washington State #14 Boise State #15 UCLA #16 Virginia Tech #17 Colorado State #18 USC #19 Florida State #20 Fresno State #21 Arkansas #22 Missouri #23 Florida #24 Penn State #25 West Virginia |

Re: The Career of Bryan Dodge (NCAA11)
RECRUITING RECAP The Off Season Recruiting Period did not go quite as planned as Coach Dodge had hoped. Coming off a 10 win season and Alamo Bowl win, the Cougars landed just 2 players in the Offseason after landing 19 during the year. 3* HB 6'0 202 lbs B. Stewart 3* WR 6'3 203 lbs A. Hester With the additional signings the Cougars finished with the #32 Ranked Class in the nation. Which is a big jump from last year #65 Finish. Coach Dodge "I am extremely excited to see where this group of kids can take our program. With a Top-15 Finish and 59 players returning from a 10 win team, we have a great chance to start in the Top-25 Preseason" (With the 21 incoming players, Coach Dodge will have to cut 10 players from the current team) Finishing in the Top-10 every year and winning National Championships is done by bringing in the Nations Best players. Alabama continued to use past success to land the #1 Overall class this year including 3 players from the Boards (Tackle-Ian McLaughlin, TE TJ Deuce and SS Jesse Matthews) Ohio State road their 2nd National Title in 4 years to the bank, landing the #2 Overall Class. However their decision to bring in 3 of the Nations Top-10 QB's including board memembers (J. Ross and A. West) raised several eyebrows in Columbus Michigan might not have made a 3rd straight trip to the National Championship Game, but they did land the #3 Overall Class including 3 board memebers (#1 WR Aaron Wheeler, #2 WR Corey Haas and #3 QB Kesley Charles) Texas continues to show that when it comes to big time programs in the nation they are still a name to be mentioned among the best and landing the #4 Overall class including board memebers #1 HB Deion White and #1 TE AJ Hart With the signings of #4 Overall/#3 WR JeMarcus Green, and #11 Overall/#2 HB Shea Mengal, the Oklahoma Sooners landed the #5 Overall Class which should lead to some interesting matchups with Texas over the next 4 years. THE REST OF THE TOP-10 AND OTHE NOTEABLE TEAMS #6 Stanford #7 Auburn #8 Florida #9 Virginia Tech #10 Penn State "Landing the combo of QB D. McLaughlin and WR J. McLaughlin continues to show that Coach Pa can still land some of the nations best" #11 TCU #14 Arkansas #15 Missouri #21 Wisconsin #44 Boise State Besides Stanford landing the #6 Overall and WSU landing the #32 Overall. Several other Pac-10 teams had success as well. #24 USC (5-4*, 13-3*) #33 Colorado (2-4*, 16-3*) #39 Oregon (6-4*, 8-3*) #40 Washington (17-3*) #45 Cal (17-3*) #52 UCLA (1-4*, 12-3*) #54 Oregon State (14-3*) #57 Utah (2-4*, 13-3*) |

Re: The Career of Bryan Dodge (NCAA11)
I sure hope so. My biggest reason for adding Drew to the coaching staff was to have him help develope my next great QB at WSU. As far as 10 wins. I was totally pumped. I never thought I would get 10 wins in my 3rd year. Now that I have done it, I think it needs to become the standard. |

Re: The Career of Bryan Dodge (NCAA11)
2014 PREVIEW #1 Defending Champs Start Year at #1 Even with JR QB Devin Gardner leaving a year early for the NFL, OSU is picked to possibily repeat as National Champs. RS Soph Ben Holt (91 Overall) will take over the starting job well FR J. Ross and A. West (Both 85 Overalls) will compete for the #2 job. #2 The Tide will start the year just like they did in 2013, sitting at #2 in the Polls. Ian McLaughlin (85 Overall) has moved to from Left Takle to the Right side and will start Day 1. TE TJ Deuce (85 Overall) also is listed as the #1 TE and #4 WR. SS Jesse Matthews (82 Overall) is listed as the #2 SS behind RS SO K. Dawson (87 Overall) #3 If the Tigers can get by #21 Georgia and #13 Florida early in the season the matchup with #2 Alabama in Week 10 will be a big one. #4 Even with JR RB L. Seastrunk leaving for the NFL, the Ducks are ready to fly behind Heisman canidate QB Bryan Bennett #5 The Sooners stable of RB's is loaded, with FR Shea Mengal (85 Overall) listed #3 on the depth chart behind SR R. Finch(95 Overall) and JR D. Butler (95 Overall). FR JeMarcus Green (85 Overall) will start opposite All-American Kris Lumpkin (87 Overall) #6 Talk about a team loaded with talent. FR QB K. Charles (85 Overall) will start the year #2 behind RS SR T. Cooper (95 Overall) but will be pushed by RS FR S. Boyd (85 Overall). FR A. Wheeler and C. Haas (Both 85 Overall) will start the year listed as the #4 and #5 WR behind RS SO All-American B. Smith (92 Overall), SR R. Miller (91 Overall) and RS JR M. McCauley (87 Overall) #7 The Vols shocked everyone last year coming out of now where. This year they won't get so lucky. #8 The Badgers had alot of key personal leave for the NFL, but still look to make some noise this year. #9 Like Tennessee the Tar Heels surprised everyone going undefeated and playing in the National Title Game. This year they have a huge target on their back Day 1. #10 Miami looks to get back into the National Spotlight with Top-10 PreSeason Ranking. #11 Are the Trojans back? With QB J. Scroggins leaving early for the Pro's, they will lean heavy on RS JR CJ Woods, SR RB DJ Morgan and 2 talented WR's in RS JR JT Myrick and RS SR K. Prater (Both 99 Overalls) #12 Like their Big 12 Rival to the North (Oklahoma) the Longhorns are loaded at Tailback. FR Deion White (85 Overall) will start the year #3 on the depth chart behind SR T. Snead (93 overall) and RS SO B. Robinson (90 Overall). FR TE AJ Hart (85 Overall) will start the year as the #1 TE and #4 WR #13 Like Miami the Gators are ready to show they are back among the nations best. #14 This is the highest PreSeason ranking for Bruin football in the history of the program. (or at least higher then I can remember ). Now the question is can they live up to the hype. #15 Like alot of Big Ten teams, the Lions have alot of talent. FR QB Dave McLaughlin (85 Overall) will have to watch another QB throw his brother #1 WR Jack McLaughlin (85 Overall) passes this season as he starts the year #2 behind SR P. Jones (93 Overall) #16 #17 #18 #19 #20 #21 #22 The Cougars are 23-3 over the past 2 seasons, dominating the WAC like BSU use too. Can they make it 3 years in a row? #23 The Broncos finished the year 11-1 but a disappointing #19 in the BCS Rankings and failed to win the MWC losing to Fresno State. This year they hope to change that #24 #25 With RB Donte Williams (96 Overall) turning down a chance to play in the NFL, and RS QB C. Halliday (84 Overall) leading the Offense and Defense Ends RS SO M. Owens (80 Overall), FR B. Mills (74 Overall), ROLB SR C. Mizzell (80 Overall) leading the Defense the Cougars look to make some noise this year. |

Re: The Career of Bryan Dodge (NCAA11)
Normally when you think of the toughest Conferences in College Football your mind goes directly to the SEC, Big Ten or even Big 12. However this year the Pac-10 is joing that list as 7 of the 10 teams are rated in the Top-30 in the Country. (Projected order of finish as well) Cougars Announce 2014 Schedule Week 1 @ #23 Coach Dodge is 0-1 on the "Blue" Week 2 VS #22 Coach Dodge is 1-0 vs the Cougars Week 3 @ #4 Coach Dodge is 0-3 vs the Ducks Week 4 @ Coach Dodge is 3-0 vs the Bears Week 5 @ Coach Dodge is 3-0 vs the Utes Week 6 "Bye" Week 7 @ #11 Coach Dodge is 1-2 vs USC Week 8 vs Coach Dodge is 3-0 vs the Buffs Week 9 vs (Rivalary Week) Coach Dodge is 3-0 vs OSU Week 10 vs Coach Dodge is 3-0 vs the Cardinals Week 11 "Bye" Week 12 "Bye" Week 13 vs #14 Coach Dodge is 0-3 vs the Bruins. Week 14 @ (Apple Cup) Coach Dodge is 3-0 vs the Huskies Week 15 @ (Battle of the Palouse) Coach Dodge is 3-0 vs the Huskies Coach Dodge comments Obviously this is a huge year for us. To start the season Ranked #25, and to face 3 Top-25 teams in the first 3 Weeks, and 4 in the first 7 Weeks we need to win early and often. If we can get into Week 8 with a just 1 loss, then we will have a great chance to repeat our 10 win performance. (Coach Dodge is now 8-10 vs Top-25 teams and a perfect 10-0 when facing his teams Top Rivals). He is also a perfect 6-0 when playing on Regional TV but 1-4 when playing on National TV) |
