WEEK 7 RECAP

NATIONAL DREAM ON THE LINE IN SEC SHOWDOWN

#2 VS #3

FINAL SCORE UF-34 LSU-27
With the Win, the Gators move to #1 over Michigan who was on a Bye, but future still nolds some tough cames for the Gators as they take on #21 Georgia next week and #11 Oregon State and #22 Florida State before plus a possible SEC Championship game.

BRONCO'S MOVE UP TO #9

With a 36-6 win over Fresno State, the Broncos are now 6-0 and #9 in the Nation setting themselves up for a possible BCS Bowl bid. However the schedule still has Arizona State (4-2) and Arizona (4-2) still to play.

OREGON STATE MAKING A MOVE!!

After upsetting #7 USC, the Beavers moved into the Top-25 at #19, now after a impressive 41-28 win over Idaho, the voters have taken notice and have moved OSU up to #11 in the latest Coaches Poll and #8 in the Media setting up what looks to be a exciting Week 10 matchup with WSU.

SOONERS DREAMS ARE CRUSHED!!

#6 Oklahoma dreamed of playing for a National Title. Those dreams turned to a nightmare after Houston pulled out the upset win 37-29.

ARKANSAS CONTINUES TO PLAY SPOILER

First the Hogs upset #3 Alabama 38-24 in Week 4, only to have their own National Title hopes crushed by Texas A&M in Week 5. Now it was Auburn's turn, as the Hogs beat the #7 Tigers 24-17.

WEEK 8 PREVIEW

#19 (3-2) VS #17 (5-1)

Playing their first home game in 5 weeks, this game has huge implications. Both teams are ranked in the Top-25. A loss could possibly send them out. Both teams are fighting for a chance for a Pac-10 Championship, and for WSU they have 11 players visiting Pullman (10 of them 4*) including QB's Keenan Daniels (#4 QB) and Zach McBride (#7 QB).
TEAM COMPARISON

USC Overall B WSU Overall C-
USC Offense A WSU Offense C-
USC Defense B WSU Defense C
USC PPG 34.1 (#17) WSU PPG-28 (#30)
USC Total Offense 2799 (#11) WSU Total Offense 2159 (#58)
USC Rush Offense 1166 (#3) WSU Rush Offense 610 (#74)
USC Pass Offense 1633 (#19) WSU Pass Offense 1549 (#28)
USC Total Defense 1916 (#63) WSU Total Defense 1960 (#71)
USC Rush Defense 756 (#93) WSU Rush Defense 815 (#100)
USC Pass Defense 1160 (#46) WSU Pass Defense 1145 (#40)
USC Turnover Diff 9 (#4) WSU Turnover Diff 1 (#46)

Lee Corso-Coach Dodge has the Cougars playing well and anytime USC has gone to Pullman they have struggled, but I still got to go with the Trojans. Prediction- USC-34 WSU-21

Kirk Herbstreit-I agree Lee. I would love to pick the Cougars, but WSU has struggled against the Run, and USC Offense is so well balanced I just think the Cougars "D" will be on the field way to much today. I too am picking the "Men of Troy" Final Score USC-42 WSU-31

COMMENTS FROM COACH DODGE

Keys to victory

Control the Clock (Win the Time of Poss, Rush for 100+ yds)

Stop the Run (Hold USC to under 100 yds)

Win the Turnover Battle (Limit our mistakes)

Get other WR involved (T. McCoy currently has 45 Rec, the #2 WR A. Brooks has #19 well #3 J. Spencer had just 11 Rec)

Well being how my 2 losses were to #14 Penn State in Week 1 where I dropped to #18, then went on to beat a ranked Oregon team, then lose to #1 Ohio State, I didn't drop to far in the polls. LSU actually has 2 losses but is ranked ahead of me because theirs was well ranked #3 and #7

I was trying to do a quick run through to find your roster/depth chart to see how many starters you have returning next season...

Could you give me a quick reference? I know you're at a C/C- overall right now... but just curious as to how many guys you have returning on both sides of the ball next season.

Things get worse. I lose 7 Starters on Offense (8 if you include QB J. Roland, but Reed has started the past 3 games) I lose 6 starters on Defense. Plus I lose my Kicker and Punter. for a Total of 16 players. Plus my best player DE Owens (84 Overall) almost went pro last year, so there is a chance he will leave this year even though he is not having a great year.

Here is a breakdown of each player

QB-J. Roland (73 Overall)
TE-C. Jackson (64 Overall)
WR-T. McCoy (68 Overall, but amazing and #1 WR) A. Brooks (78 Overall)

Forgot the names of my O-line but they are as follows

LT-77 Overall
LG-74 Overall
C-77 Overall
RT-77 Overall

On Defense

MLB R Franklin (73 Overall)
DT J. Hines (71 Overall)
CB D. Miller (81 Overall)
SS D. Burton (74 Overall)
SS G. Keyes (72 Overall)
FS P. Evans (72 Overall)

K R. Parrish (78 Overall)
P C. Young (72 Overall)

What really sucks, is I went hard after a bunch of 4* this year instead of relying on 3* guys, and so far I have struck out on a bunch of them. I am in Week 10 and so far have only 2 committments

I figure I will end up with 15-20 guys but only 5-8 of them are guys I have targetted since Day 1.
