LEAF FILES LAWSUIT AGAINST HAWKS

Toronto - It was leaked today that Ryan Leaf has filed a descrimination lawsuit against the Toronto Hawks. Leaf was reportedly asked to leave the team complex when he tackled another player who had allegedly cut in front of him in line while awaiting a tryout. A team spokesman issued the following statement. "Everyone has seen footage of the altercation Mr. Leaf was involved in. He simply has no case. We see this as an unfortunate attempt for Mr. Leaf to keep is name in the dim spotlight he has enjoyed for far too long."

Leaf was not available for comment.

Hawks Lose Two Players to CFL

When the deal was done to bring the NFL to Canada there were many rules put in place to keep the CFL's Argonauts relevant in the market. One of the guidelines was that the Argonauts coaching staff would have full access to all Hawks games, practices and film. Another was that the Hawks could not get into any "bidding wars" against the Argos for players. They can only match the offer. Both rules came into effect last night when it was made known that a pair of Hawks players had jumped ship to join the Argonauts.

Runningback Brenden Little was the first to hop the fence. Upset at his lack of touches due to Willie Parker being ahead of him on the depth chart. The Hawks did not attempt to match the offer made by the Argos.

A far more devastating theft was starting QB Chester Dawson. The Argos offer sheet was a 5 year deal worth more than twice his Hawks salary per year. The Hawks did match the offer but Dawson wasn't interested in staying, opting for the pass heavy league and a more immediately competitive team.

Dawson had taken all but 5 snaps for the Hawks this season. He had thrown 5 TDs and 5 interceptions but had started to gel with Danny Hart and Martin Danielson. Colt Brennan, who is 1/3 for 4 yards this season, will move into the starting role but the team may try to bring someone in over the bye week.

Hawks Looking to Trade for QB

With the trade deadline fast approaching and the recent departure of QB Chester Dawson the Hawks have announced that they are looking to deal for a QB. The talent level at QB league wide is not what it once was but there are still a few backups with starter potential. Pittsburgh has 3 of them, Charlie Batch, Byron Leftwich and Dennis Dixon, however they have already announced that they were not interested in dealing any of them. Kerry Collins, Rex Grossman, Billy Volek, Marc Bulger and Chad Pennington are all potential targets but with the importance of a solid backup it may be tough to pry any of them away. The Hawks have a week to make a deal happen or they will be stuck with Colt Brennan and Darrius Gillum who have 4 NFL pass attempts combined.

Sources say the fans have not lost interest in the team with the recent mutiny but were seen burning several Dawson and Little jerseys outside the stadium. Team officials chose not to break up the display.

Remove the line breaks/enters

so instead of it being:
< tr >
< td > name < / td >
< td > fact < / td >
< / tr >
(repeat)

it should be < tr >< td > name < / td>< td > fact < / td >< / tr >

With the entire thing on one constant line, But obviously without all the extra spaces. the tr command will automatically start/end a new row, and the td's will automatically separate themselves once the table is generated.

I had the same problem with some of my tables at first until I figured it out.
