The Coaching Legacy of Chris Mabry (NCAA Football 10)

This just in high school football coach Chris Mabry has accepted a job offer at Army. He will have a tough road ahead to turn this Army team in to a good college football team. We take you live to his press conference right now.

Reporter: "Coach, why did you pick Army?"

Mabry: " I chose this Army school because i see a lot of promise in the school and i want to make Army a team thats going to a bowl game every year."

Reporter: "Which goals do you have for this school this year?"

Mabry: "I want to get this team into a bowl game. It's that simple.

Reporter: "We know you do not plan to be with Army for you're entire career. What schools would you be most interested in if they offered you a job?

Mabry: "Right now my main focus is on Army but growing up I loved the PAC 10 especially the Oregon Ducks. I'd love to coach there. I also wouldn't mind coaching at Michigan State or Penn State."

Reporter: "What changes are you making to the schedule this year?"

Mabry: "I've added a few games with tougher teams like against at Baylor, and at Miami, and home to Minnesota. I hope games like these will help Army get recognized."

Reporter: "Thank you for your time."

Re: The Coaching Legacy of Chris Mabry (NCAA Football 10)

Army Game 1 vs.

Baylor Bears (0-0)

Baylor Comes Back in Overtime Thriller!!

The season opener for coach Mabry was definitely exciting. Baylor got the ball first and in three quick plays they had a touchdown. Army answered back with a FB give from an option play into the endzone. After an interception Army threw one way deep into the endzone and was caught! (surprised me it was caught i play on all american) 14 to 7 black knights. The Knights got the ball back and got yet another touchdown. 21 to 7. Baylor answered back in the 3rd with another touchdown to get within 7. Baylor then scored again to tie it at 21. Army scored again in the 4th to get a 7 point lead and Army got the ball back with 2 minutes left. They punted with 1 minute left. Baylor drove down field to the 20 with 40 seconds left. As the quarterback threw the ball he was hit and Army had a chance for the pick and to end the game but it was dropped. 2 plays later Baylor scored to tie it at 28. In overtime Baylor won the toss and elected to have the ball first. On the first play they threw it into the endzone for a touchdown. After and incomplete pass by Army Chip Bowden was hit as he threw and the pass was picked off and the Bears sealed the game. 35-28 Baylor wins.

Bears win 35-28

I'll have box score and stats for next game didn't take stats for this one.
